Woodfield Farms Equestrian LLC. Woodfield Farms provides a fun safe environment for children to learn the basics of horsemanship and We are located in Coker. Go 82W toward Northport.

Woodfield farms is a horse farm with approximately 35 acres of rolling pasture land, 3 ponds, a small barn and our home. Go past Wal-Mart. Take a right onto Upper Columbus Rd toward Lake Lurleen. Stay on Upper Columbus Rd. 2.9 miles until you get to pasture land with board fencing on left. Turn left onto gravel driveway. You can call Julie at 205-454-6149.

Fun was had by all, including the horses, at our annual “Deck The Stalls” Christmas Party! Thanks so much to everyone who came out and helped decorate the stalls and barn. Having our “barn family” bring Christmas cheer to Woodfield Farms made everything brighter even on a cloudy day.

Monday’s Veterans Day Horse & Pony camp pictures… Campers enjoyed grooming and riding horses with a saddle in the morning along with an art activity and yard games. The afternoon was full of more fun activities which included riding without a saddle, cleaning stalls, feeding carrots to the horses and galloping on foot over jumps.

Today was amazing! The first Horse Show at Woodfield Farms was a huge success. 👏🏻🎉 A special thank you goes out to Karen Huff who donated the sign. Couldn’t have done it without the help and support of all the parents and volunteers. A big thank you goes out to: Helen Schadt our amazing Judge, Brittany Riley/ secretary, Andrea Stringfellow/ treasurer, Taylor Stewart/ End Gate, Holly Tanner our fabulous announcer, Elana Arnold our ribbon table lady, Traci Higgenbotham/ concessions, Lindsey Wright & Lundy Arnold/ jump crew, Benji Stringfellow property maintenance, Robert Tanner/ traffic control and all others who helped with the set up for the show! So excited for our first home horse show tomorrow! Everyone has worked so hard to sharpen their riding skills. Can’t wait to see how well everyone does. This Saturday November 9th some really lucky lesson students are going to win a bunch of beautiful ribbons at our FIRST HORSE SHOW! 🐴🏅🏆 Can’t wait for all of our students to show their families and friends what riding skills they have learned and accomplished. This will be one of many schooling shows to come. We are planning on having another one in the Spring and then annually each Fall and Spring. 🎉 Come cheer us on and see what it’s all about. Good luck to all participants! 🧲.

Farm dogs are the best! Does anyone else have a dog that loves peaches. One of my clients gave us a bag full of beautiful big peaches. I made a peach cobbler and Dottie loved it. Not only does she love the peaches in the cobbler I made, she loves uncooked raw peaches too! I actually have a peach tree which produces small peaches some of which fall to the ground. Dottie carefully selects one and eats it. I worry about her cloaking on the pit. So far so good, but I’m going to check the ground under the tree daily and gather up all the dropped peaches. While peaches are very nutritious for dogs the pits can be hazardous. #peaches #dogsnutrition #farmdog #nutritionfordogs #jackrussellterrier
