Yesterday started off quiet on the farm, just another typical morning. But in rescue, you never know what’s around the corner. A call came in from an animal control officer — four horses and two minis urgently needed rescuing.

Our team jumped into action. We knew we had to get these horses out, as they had no food and no shelter with harsh weather conditions approaching. Two of the horses are severely malnourished and the yearling has a halter growing into her face. We gathered supplies, hooked up the trailer and got on the road fast.

Every step and every decision felt crucial. But seeing the horses safely loaded and heading toward shelter was a relief. Stay tuned for more info and introductions!

Rescues of multiple horses are expensive! From transportation to medical care, food, and shelter, the resources required to provide these animals with the care they need are significant. Good morning! Hope you are doing well! Earl has settled in nicely. Been going on trail walks with his sisters and by himself. Got his feet done yesterday and he was perfect for the farrier. (Farrier wants first dibs if I ever want to sell him) NOT! I will send some videos of him later today.
