Two years ago when we held our Customer Appreciation Day, we raised money for a few of our local organizations.
After hearing the tragedies from Hurricane Helene, we decided we needed to help. Bar G Horse & Cattle Supply is doing a raffle for an Rtic Cooler. The money raised from the tickets purchased will be split between the following 5 organizations:
• Georgia Equine Rescue League
• ReDux Equine Rescue Inc.
• Butterfly Dreams Farm Equine Therapy
• Oconee Therapeutic Riding
• Oconee County Animal Services

These three yearlings all have very different back stories. As they grow, they are being handled with care and softness as their bodies and minds mature.

Georgia belongs to Momma Montana, but she’s a youngster who has developed her own friends, spending most of her time with the Halflinger geldings. She’s quick to approach you in the pasture and loves scratches. She’s been haltered and groomed, which she handled very well.

Chance’s energy and independence is palpable, and he increasingly wants to engage, learn and even get his head scratched. He’s had some early groundwork experiences that show he’s receptive to training, and he’s softened over the last few months into a very engaging member of the herd.

No one can pass Radish without not only a scratch but also a fairly intense cuddle — for at least 10 minutes. He’s been handled since birth by ReDux’s founder and volunteers, and although he’s close to his mom, Phoebe, he’s also starting to look for adventure beyond the main herd. He’s the playful sort that has no fear, and enjoys being as social as possible.
