This is a very nice and very athletic baby! “Filly” is a striking, well put together palomino with a show pedigree and a look at me attitude. Her Arabian sire, HA Justa Wise Guy++, has his LEGION OF MERIT with multiple Regional Championships in multiple disciples with over 15 regional top fives, 7 top tens at Scottsdale and two National top tens. His get have followed in his footsteps with two already achieving their Legion of Honor. Filly’s dam is the only AQHA cremello daughter of Vanilla Zip, the cremello quarter horse who sired a dynasty of champion buckskin and palomino winners. This filly is going to DO something! Filly is put together very nicely, moves with tremendous athletic ability and has a sweet disposition. Filly could be a show horse, conquer trails or move cows. K Tesoro Vaquero, a purebred Kiger Mustang, was born late in 2022 and now is becoming a very nice looking c**t! Now over a year and a half old he is shedding his baby looks and starting to look like his sire. Nice c**t with good conformation, nice shapely head and big eyes. Moves easily with nice gaits and good balance. Vaquero is halter broke, leads well, just had his feet done and loads easily into a trailer. Very manageable for a young c**t in spring! With all the inquiries I have had on this c**t, I have put together a series of pictures of some of Vaquero's bloodlines of sire, dam and grandsires from both sides. His sire is K Steens Tesoro whose side is Steens Vaquero. Colt's dam is Lonestar Shelby whose sire is Lonestar by Sundance.

Meet baby number two for the spring!
K Kiger Kinziki 2023 foal – bay dun filly
K Steens Tesoro (Kiger Mustang) X K Tiki Sprite (Arab race mare) Will be registered with AHA as a Half Arab.
I LOVE this filly!! This filly is going to be nice sized and is very well put together. “Kinsi” looks very Arab but with a bigger frame and that sweet Kiger coloring. Nice bone, good gaits and should be a great endurance prospect, super trail horse or nice western dressage candidate. Her dam was a race champion with over $85,000 winnings on the track. Several times CA Bred Race Horse of the Year. This filly lives up to her dam’s race blood and likes to run and stretch those long legs. She is very athletic! Kinzi is nicely bred from one of my all-time favorite, west coast champion race mares, K Tiki Thyme (by Flaming Streak by Ibn Kontiki). Great old racing lines close up in her pedigree; great grandsires were Wiking and Flaming Streak. Throw in that 1/2 Kiger bone, stamina and body and this filly will be exceptional. Kinsi is also very sweet, curious and willing.

At " Baby Boot Camp" where he learned all the things a c**t should do, my trainer said Eclipse was so sweet and willing that he was just born broke! Eclipse is now gelded and ready to be someone's best friend and forever companion. He is gowning into a very handsome boy! I pride myself as a breeder of good horses and the knowledge of breeding that I have gained though the years. I have foaled out 74 babies at my ranch and 12+ before the ranch. Then there was the 75th………

A year ago spring I decided to breed a purebred Kiger Mustang with my Kiger stallion, Tesoro, and my Kiger mare Shelby. Shelby was in heat so I put her in with Tesoro. Tesoro was ready for the task at hand but Shelby said DO NOT come near me! Hmmm, this went on all summer. By late fall I thought, well mustangs won’t breed this time of year for such a late baby the following year. So decided to just leave Shelby in to keep Tesoro company for the winter and I’ll figure out what the issue is the next spring. Come about June, Shelby was still saying no way big boy! But Shelby seemed a bit plumper…..then she started developing an udder……..then she got bigger as summer progressed. OOOOOooo she’s going to have a baby! But when is it due as we’re getting toward winter!?! Mustangs don’t have babies in late fall or winter. I’ve NEVER had that late a baby!

So after staying at my ranch for 10 nights with an ever fattening Shelby….. October 14th Shelby proudly presents me with a healthy, BIG, Kiger c**t! All I can say is….. mares don’t read the same books about having babies that I do!

Meet my new purebred Arabian filly, Dreamin, just a week old today! What a sweet heart and as athletic as they come! At just 5 hours old she was zippin' and zoomin' around the corral. Then tired out, she laid down for a nap with mom watching over her. A cold morning so I gently tucked a towel on top of her. More on her royal heritage later.....

“Promise” - registration name "Golden Vagdhan" IAHA # 3A 346763 ~ 2002 foal Sadly time for my beautiful Arabian palomino stallion to find a new home as I am just not using him to his potential.
“Promise” is a 7/8 Arabian palomino stallion. Even as an older stallion he is still a beautiful, athletic horse and also still very virile when it comes to breeding. Promise has been collected and is offered for sale with the inclusion of 300 straws of frozen semen available (details on inquiry). If you are looking to put some color in your breedings, Promise produces both palomino and cremello offspring. I have had him all these years and he has given me some wonderful babies. Bred to my half Arab cremello mare he produced 2 very nice cremello fillies that I have kept as breeding stock. I had offers for them from all over the US and Canada at $4000 each as weanlings. He produces 75% palomino out of chestnut mares. I consider Promise as a breeding stallion who could also be put back under saddle. He is one of the few and one of the best 7/8 palomino Arab breeding stallions in the US today. I just don’t advertise him enough but there are many breeding inquiries out there if he were promoted more.
Promise is 15.1 hands and was broke and shown as a 3 year old by Pete Rasmussen - Pete Rasmussen Training. He was beautiful and did well as a western pleasure horse. He hasn’t been ridden in quite a while but could easily be put back under saddle. Promise has a beautiful gallop in particular and admired by Arab and quarter horse people alike! No small feat!
Promise’s sire has done very well in the show ring and Promise is his only breeding son. I bought him as a weanling from Jan Wolf who is in Wisconsin and considered the best breeder of palomino half Arabs in the US. http://www.provfarm.com/ Feel free to ask her about Promise as she and I have recently talked about him as I considered putting him up for sale.
Promise was a handful as a young stallion but has mellowed considerably. I handle him at breeding and brush and comb him out without a halter on him. He can be a little mouthy being a stallion but is not mean at all. He is courteous around other horses but needs a brush up on crowd manners. He was good in the show ring under saddle, I just didn’t continue with him as a show horse as I was putting my money into Arab racing with a huge payback. Promise has always been my pasture eye candy and a breeding stallion but it is time for him to find someone else who can promote him as a breeding stallion and just enjoy him as he is still quite charismatic. And then there were 3........palomino babies! Creme foaled a HUGE palomino c**t Thursday night at 10:00PM. I am always amazed that those long legs and that big body can fit in that little mare! Nice c**t! Pictured when he was only 12 hours old.
