Found dog!!! This sweet pup was found by a neighbor on 6/13/24 around 7pm on Spratlin Mill Road. He is not microchipped, please PM us if this is your or someone else's dog.

Dr. Andrews will be out of town this Thursday (5/9/24) and next Thursday (5/16/24) so we are having a doggy day spa while she is gone!
A bath and blow dry is $25.
Bath, blow dry, and nail trim is $35
Bath, blow dry, nail trim and a**l gland expression is $40.
We can also do sanitary clips!
No need to call to make an appointment, just drop your dog or cat off before noon, and they will be ready for pick up before 5!

FOUND DOG

This dog was found on highway 72 this morning around 10am. He is a black chihuahua mix with rust/ brown highlights. He looks around 2 years old and is intact. It seems like he has owners because he is a little chunky and good with people. He doesn’t have a microchip, so we need help finding his owners! If you know anything about him please let us know!

With spooky season in full swing, we are doing a sale on heartworm prevention because as we know, heartworms are scary!! From now until the end of the month, Interceptor Plus is 13% off. Interceptor Plus is a great product that not only prevents heartworms but also kills intestinal parasites. In order to dispense heartworm prevention, your dog does need to be a current patient and have a negative heartworm test.

Heartworm disease is a dangerous disease that affects pets in the United States and is transmitted by mosquitoes. Happy National Pet ID Week!

Starting today, through the end of the week, we will be offering $20 microchips! This week is a great opportunity to review how to keep your pet safe if they escape or get lost.

Microchips are about the size of a grain of rice and go under the skin so they can't fall off like pet ID tags. When scanned, they have a unique number that can be registered to your name, allowing you to be contacted when someone finds your pet. We are able to microchip your pet during a regular visit and it doesn't hurt any more than a standard vaccine.

Pet ID tags are another great way to get your pet back to you safe and sound. Ensure their tag is readable, securely fastened to their collar/harness, and the information on it is up to date.

Keep your pet safe this New Year's Eve! New Year's Eve is this weekend, which means a lot of fireworks, loud noises, and new people.

Dogs and cats are more prone to getting out and getting lost during the holidays especially if there are loud noises that might activate their "fight or flight" mode.

Prevention is key! Whether this means picking up anxiety meds that your pet might need or we have CBD oil that we make in-house which can reduce stress and anxiety.

Microchips are another way of keeping your pets safe if they do get out and get lost. The microchipping process is very quick and easy and for the rest of the year, we are offering $20 microchips!

Collars with ID tags with your pet's name and your phone number are also important if your pet gets separated from you.

This morning as our receptionist opened the hospital for clients, she discovered a spayed, black and tan, female, shepherd mix, dead on our front porch. After further examination, we found she had a bullet wound from a 22 gauge on her right shoulder. At this time we are not sure if she died from the bullet or from hypothermia. If someone knows what may have happened or know of a missing dog that fits this description, please reach out so we can take appropriate action.

Spectrum notified us earlier this morning that their internet services are interrupted and they are working to repair. So, until that is done we have no internet or telephone services.
