This adorable 10-week-old puppy is looking for her forever home! While she’s not quite ready for adoption until she finishes her vaccinations, she’s already showing what a special pup she is.
Leia is incredibly smart—she already knows how to sit and loves a fun game of tug-of-war! But don’t be fooled by her playful side—her favorite time of day is eating and cuddle time. She adores people, enjoys playing with both cats and dogs, and is always excited to make new friends.

Meet Izzy, a sweet and loving 10-year-old German Shepherd who’s ready to find her forever home! Despite her age and condition, Izzy is full of affection and enjoys spending time with her people, whether it’s cuddling on the couch or going on gentle walks. She has EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which requires her to be on a special diet, but that doesn’t stop her from being a calm and loyal companion. Izzy is dog-selective, so she’d do best as the only dog in the home, but she’s lived with cats before—though she can be very interested in them at first. She’s looking for a home where she can relax and share her loving nature with you!

Montana is still looking for her forever home! According to her foster she is very good motivated which is very useful for training. She’s great with cats and dogs and loves meeting new people.
She’s great at having her nails trimmed, getting bathed, and having her teeth brushed.
She enjoys playing and exploring, but is always ready for a cuddle sesh on the couch.

Meet Anchovy, the fluffy and sweet rescue cat who's ready to find his forever home! Though he started out as a shy outdoor cat, Anchovy has made incredible progress since coming inside. He’s warming up more and more each day, now seeking out attention by rubbing up against your legs, and with a little patience, he’s even letting you pick him up in small doses. His soft fur and gentle nature make him a joy to be around, and he’s looking for a calm and loving home where he can continue to blossom into the affectionate companion he’s destined to be. In addition to the eggs, Dr A makes some skin care products that are sold for the rescue’s benefit.
We have Gratifying Goodness Herbal Salves that are great for pets and people alike. It is available in 8oz and 2 oz tins. The larger is $15 and the small is $10.

A few weeks ago, Dr A made some awesome goat milk hand lotion. Really nice stuff.
Right now we have it in a 6 oz and 2 oz bottle. The large bottle is $28 and the 2 oz is $12.

Even with the cold, our hens are very busy laying eggs. The eggs are sold for $5 a dozen and the proceeds are donated to the rescue.
Right now we are needing some cartons to store the eggs, so if you have some on hand, bring them to donate or fill up with eggs for yourself.
They are fed a non- GMO scratch and are truly free range!

Meet Duma!
Duma’s owner has fallen into poor health and can no longer care for him. Duma is a Domestic shorthair cat and is approximately 20 months old.
Duma is neutered, chipped and up to date on all vaccines. His last visit to the vet was in July 2024. Food and some supplies would be provided.

Meet Bronya
She is a sweet and friendly Karakachen dog who’s about 18 months old and weighs around 90 lbs. She’s spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and has a clean bill of health. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and loves meeting new people. Bronya loves going on walks and playing with her dog friends in the yard, and she’s always ready for some fun and adventure. She’s also incredibly cute and has a heart full of love to share. Whether it's playtime with her furry friends or snuggling up with her humans, she’s sure to bring joy to your life. Meet Debbie!
Debbie is an adorable 2 year old husky who wants to find her forever home! She is roughly 35-40 lbs and is full grown. She is very friendly when meeting new people and other dogs. We are not sure how she does with cats. She has been given a clean bill of health and she is up to date on her vaccines, heartworm negative, and on preventatives.
She has not been spayed yet, but until we get that done, she is available for fostering.
Debbie enjoys being outside especially if there is a dog house or dogloo. She is extremely cute and taps her little paws when she is excited.
She has a lot of energy and doesn’t like to stay still for very long except when she finds a comfy nap spot. She enjoys playing with people and we are working on her manners when going on walks, but she is getting much better.

May, Fern, and Cricket
These sweet kitties are the friendliest little cats you’ll ever meet. They have come so far, from running away as soon as anyone would walk in the room to running up to anyone walking in the room, begging for pets!
They are all 3 from the same litter and we have had them since they were babies. They are still young but they deserve to be in a home where they are able to be loved on more than we have time for.
If you adopt all 3 of them, we will only have you pay 1 adoption fee for $100!

Meet Montana
Montana is a beautiful 1 ½ year old girl. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. She was found wandering around outside the rescue looking for love. We took her in and noticed that she was limping on one of her back legs from a previous injury but after a couple of weeks of medicine, she is doing much better!
Montana is the sweetest dog in the world and has never met a stranger. She gets along great with new people, other dogs, cats, children, etc. She loves to play and go on walks and to be where the people are.
Right now, Montana is in a foster home and she has adapted to the new home very quickly and she is learning fast how to live in a home! She is learning some manners (not jumping up on people) and acclimating well to living with other animals. She has some separation anxiety, but according to her foster, it is getting better the longer they have her.
She is still young so she has some puppy energy that comes out sometimes. She is an active dog so she would do great with an active family.

Meet the pasta boys! Macaroni, Tortellini, Linguine, and Ravioli. Meredith has done an amazing job raising these rambunctious boys. They are 5 weeks today. They did an amazing job during their photoshoot!!
I will post more information about them in the next few weeks as they get closer to being able to be adopted!

Carter is still available!! He is an adorable 5 month old neutered male. Carter is a lab/pit mix.
He is a very smart boy and he is food motivated which helps with training. He knows how to sit and just recently learned how to fetch!
We are still working on some manners with him because he has a lot of puppy energy. He is very friendly with other dogs and meeting new people. He likes to play with cats but he has not learned that he is bigger than them now and he plays a little rough.

Howie is a 2 year old male cat who loves people. He is a very loyal cat and will always be the first to greet you when you arrive home. His favorite toys are bottle caps and pens.

Howie tolerates other female cats but would rather be the only cat. He loves to play outside but loves to be indoors by your side. He is fixed and liter box trained.

Donation Request!
We are so thankful for all of our lovely volunteers and the people that make what we do possible. With that being said, we need your help. We have recently had a large intake of kittens and they eat a looootttt of wet food. At CVRS we like to feed our cats grain free foods and a couple of brands that we like are Nulo, American Journey, Tiki Cat, Wellness.
With it cooling down, we could also use big blankets. We do not needs sheets at this time, but blankets would be hugley appreciated!
