October has been a tough month for our GMCC families. We have said goodbye to two of our amazing campers, and hearts are feeling very heavy lately.

Clover, our 14 year old golden retriever beauty, and Fritz, our 15 year old distinguished gentleman, both brought an enormous amount of joy to our packs. There’s something so pure and wonderful about these senior dogs that join us until the very end. We can truly learn so much from them, and I am incredibly honored to have been a part of their lives here on earth.

As always, I know that all of our former pack members who have made the journey across the rainbow bridge before them will be waiting for them with wagging tails and big goofy smiles.

Happy National Dog Day to ALL the pups out there, but we’ll give a special shout out to our mascot, Monty, who heads in for his 2nd TPLO surgery tomorrow morning 😭

I will be forever grateful for this little rascal who inspired me to start this fun and fulfilling little business 10 years ago! I get to spend my days with the sweetest, most amazing dogs, and I am beyond lucky to participate in their joy every week.

Long live dogs and send Montego all the positive vibes for his surgery tomorrow!
