Our first Homeschool With Horses session is winding down. We covered a LOT but some of the best topics were observation and interpretation of horse body language, learning horse parts, and of course some basic riding.

Full Board ($1000):
⭐️ All day turnout. Individual or group. During the summer months we promote overnight turnout to get out of the heat
⭐️ 12x12 matted stalls
⭐️ Hay fed 3-4x/day in slow feed nets to promote digestion
⭐️ ProElite grain fed 2x/day
⭐️ Hot/cold wash stall, grooming stall, and crossties throughout the aisles
⭐️ Direct access to thousands of acres of state forests and trail systems
⭐️ Indoor/outdoor arenas
⭐️ Rider lounge with full bathroom
⭐️ Large individual tack lockers
⭐️ Social Events and priority access to clinics with like-minded equestrians
⭐️USDF Silver Medalist on site. Custom training packages available. Opportunities to show if desired but never required 😊 Horse-first approach

Semi-Rough Board ($800):
⭐️ Access to all of the above and your own stall but horse will live out unless inclement weather/cold

Homeschool with Horses at Rockland Farm!

Join us at Rockland Farm in Colchester, CT for a six week class on all things horse 🐴

Sessions run 6 weeks each season on Mondays from 11am-12:30 Start date is 9/16/24.

Cost is $250 per participant/minimum of 4 participants maximum of 10. Suggested age is 7-12.

Curriculum will follow National 4H Giddy Up and Go guide, and will include hands on as well as classroom type learning, projects and handouts, and homework to share with group. Please note that one week is devoted to actual riding. The majority of this class will be hands-on interactive, but out of the saddle.

‼️ Lesson Program Students: Please be advised with the expected heat this week your lesson may very well be unmounted! We have plenty of things we can still learn while keeping everyone safe and cool 😊

Training horses will be ridden very early in the morning, at night, or may end up with a few days off. ‼️

Beginner lessons available Monday and Friday evenings with Mary Jo Zanolli of Carabelle Equine!

She has been an excellent addition to the team at Blueberry Ridge Dressage and the kids all love her.
