My favorite things in the yard for dog enrichment are:
-A dig pile- just a big area with dirt or sand to dig in. You can add buried toys or bones- it offers lots of entertainment.
-Frozen treats in a bowl- This is a great way to make feeding a more interesting process, you freeze dog food or treats in a bowl and it takes a while for your dog to get to them.
-And my favorite- A friend- A lot of times we forget that dogs have emotional needs, too, so when we are gone it helps to have another dog they can play with to contribute to each others' emotional needs.

We use a specially designed traction mat that helps the puppies have more stability as they walk. It particularly helps them develop their teres ligament. This ligament, when properly developed, helps the femoral head seat correctly and securely into the socket. Looseness of this ligament is related to hip dysplasia. Using these traction mats provides our puppies the best opportunity for proper development and musculature.
We are expecting yellow puppies August 2024. We will have a range of shades from white to dark fox red.

We are always told to be efficient and productive, but the dog’s have shown us it’s ok to stop and enjoy the moment. That’s the beauty of animals. You can’t push them. You just get to love on them and go at their pace. I know it’s taught my kids a lot about patience in life, in a way that an iPad and social media can’t! Need a little pick-me-up? I love going to Starbucks with one or two of my dogs. while I "pretend" it's for socialization, it's really because I want an iced coffee. Starbucks is not only the best coffee, but more importantly, they give free pup cups to my dogs! It's impossible to have a bad day when you're watching a dog lick up the sweet cream. Do you believe this? You can use your dog to force you to relax after work. All you have to do is put on your favorite show and sit on the couch. within minutes, your pup will understand what you need, climb into your lap, they will prevent you from getting up.
