What kind of animal is most plentiful at Topfield? BIRDS of course! At our 10/26 Accessible Birding event, we saw 168 birds including 36 species. Steve Rappaport from took some amazing shots...pictured in order are a Red Shouldered Hawk, Eastern Meadowlarks sitting and flying, a Purple Finch, a Brown Headed Cowbird sitting next to horse Winston, and some Eastern Bluebirds. We've started a gratitude practice at Topfield so that our staff can share all of our weekly successes and the things about TEC we are grateful for with each other. This is a graphic of Topfield's October Gratitude! Research has found that sharing gratitude is linked to reducing stress and increasing feelings of happiness and well-being - things we thought everyone might need a little of this election evening. ❤🐴❤
