RPSM would like to thank the kind donor who donated the KIK 3 piece dog chew toys! Thank you! RPSM goes through approx. 50-60 toys every 10 weeks, (approx. 300 or more a year) depending on the sturdiness of the toys, for the 14 dogs that enter training to learn their manners before being adopted!

RPSM is in need of foster homes near Lagrange County, IN to foster dogs chosen from our partner, Ark Animal Rescue and Adoption to enter the RPSM Canine Companion Program to learn their manners.

Every 10 weeks, dogs from our partnering shelters enter training with skilled inmates to learn their manners.

Before the dogs enter 10 weeks of training, our dogs spend time in foster homes to decompress from shelter life, allowing fosters to learn more about the dogs before they become available for adoption…their likes, dislikes, and more.
RPSM provides everything you will need: food, treats, crate, collar, leash, heartworm/flea/tick preventative medication, and more if you may need it.

If you are able to bring your foster to Coldwater, MI on the day they enter training, then you may qualify to be a foster.

Meet Kora, a 3 year-old Pitbull mix weighing in at 48 pounds. Kora's story is one of resilience and pure love. When she was found as a stray, her severe allergies had left her without fur, her skin rough and crusted over. But thanks to her foster family and RPSM, Kora is slowly regaining her coat and her health, one step at a time.

Despite everything she's been through, Kora is a sweet, loving soul who adores people and gets along well with children and other dogs. She hasn't been tested with cats.

Kora is both house and crate trained, making her a well-behaved companion. Due to her allergies, she may need ongoing care such as medicated baths, allergy medicine, or a special dietbut that's a small price to pay for the love and cuddles she has to offer. RPSM would like to thank Shelly H for their donation of 2 bags of Pet Botanics Training treats and the squeaky dog toy for the dogs in the Training Program where 14 dogs enter training every 10 weeks to learn their manners before being adopted into their forever homes!
