The weirdest goats we have ever had on the farm are these Toggenburgs, that my daughter Delaney owns. We have had Toggenburg goats in the past, but nothing like the two we have here now 🤪

We added a couple of North Country Cheviots to the flock. They are a very hardy breed of sheep. I am excited to work with their wool 🩵

Sheep Trivia-male sheep are called rams. While sheep are generally docile, that is not always the case with rams. They tend to be more aggressive, and can be dangerous, especially during breeding season. We never trust a ram, even our friendlier rams. A rams headbutt can exert almost 800 pounds of force!

Mike found this gem on the east coast, sitting in someone’s barn. It’s a Davis & Furber wool picker. It has been part of the mill from the beginning. The picker separates and opens up the wool locks, preparing it for the carding machine.
