Services provided include routine wellness examinations/vaccinations, diagnosis and treatment of minor injuries and illnesses, and home euthanasia. Due to the limitations of what can be treated in your home, same day appointments are not available. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please seek care from an emergency veterinary clinic. Please text or call during business hours to schedule r

outine/non-urgent appointments. Due to limited in-house diagnostic and treatment modalities available, we do not offer after hour services, if you're pet requires immediate attention, it likely needs to be seen at a veterinary clinic and not in your home. If you are concerned your pet may need to be seen by a veterinarian urgently, feel free to reach out with questions or concerns regarding the severity of what is going on. Text or messaging is the preferred method of communication, and can generally be answered quicker than phone calls.

***If there is any sort of illness in your household (cold, flu, covid, etc.) please let us know PRIOR to the appointment. Non-urgent appointments may be re-scheduled. We will discuss how best to handle more urgent appointments (possibly examining the pet outside/in a garage, or in a way that limits our exposure to germs).***

After much deliberation, I have decided to close At Home Veterinary Care. You should have current copies of your pets' medical records, but I will be re-sending copies over the next month to ensure a smooth transition to your new veterinarians. For pets with prescriptions that I have been approving refills, I will include a date with your records that indicates when refills will no longer be approved. Thank you for entrusting me with your pets' care, I wish you all the best. I plan to honor any appointments that are already scheduled, please notify me if you need to cancel.

Will you be changing up your normal routine over the holidays? Travel, visitors, and changes in routine can be very stressful for some cats. If your kitty seems sensitive to changes, consider looking into a calming supplement like Purina Calming Care (https://athomevetcarellc.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/205267_Home.pml?productId=147142). If they suffer from severe anxiety during the holidays, schedule an appointment to discuss some other options to keep them as calm and comfortable as possible!
