With puppies going home soon
I wanted to do quick post about potty training 😊

In the past we have tried a number of different potty training methods but for the last few years we have begun to use the pine litter method.

Everyone will have a way that works for them.
Some reasons we have quickly embraced this method as our favorite.

♡ Encourages positive puppy habits.
Going potty on pads on the floor can make things confusing for when pups are little and trying to decipher where to go. The outdoorsy pine smell seems to naturally attract them to the appropriate area.

♡Affordable.
The small rabbit trays at Tractor Supply $21.99
A 40lb bag of Pellets $6.99 vs. Pricey throwaway puppy pads.

♡ Environmentally friendly.
With a washable and reusable tray and biodegradable pellets we cut down on throw away puppy pads that can take up to a whopping 250-500 years to break down in landfills we feel good about using this strategy.

We empty our trays in the potty section of our yard or dog runs and puppies begin to recognize that area is where they are supposed to go.

Just wanted to share because we get a lot of questions about potty training 💛its a tip that helps us here at HHF Labs.
