In the case of Martha. Originally I thought that the bald spot Martha has on her head was a midline defect. After their 8 weeks vet checks yesterday my vet assured me that that is not the case with Martha. He said he sees this sometimes in other breeds and it like a birth mark. Simply cosmetic. He said sometimes they grow in and sometimes they do not. Just depends on the pup.

The puppies are 5 weeks old today. They are more and more lively every day.

I will post a video of what it’s like trying to get pictures at this age in a few minutes.

Today the puppies are 4 wks old.

A couple of them didn’t want to wake up for picture time. And a couple of others wanted to run off the chair I put them on for pictures 🤦‍♀️.

The pups are 3 weeks old today. I have to catch them sleepy to get pictures they are up and running these days.

The Bible litter is now two weeks old. Everyone is growing and doing great.

*A note on Martha. Martha was born with one very mild defect. She was born with a bald spot on her head. This is a sign of what is called a Midline Defect. Normally a Midline defect would come in twos. For example, a bald spot and a cleft palate. However that is not the case with this girl. She shows no others signs of any other defects. But as a precautionary step she will have an extra vet check before being placed in a new home.*

This is Sophie’s last litter and we will be looking to one of these babies to carry forward with down the road. Fingers crossed!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Arwen (Anna) left today. This one stung a little. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt she will have a great home. Gemma (Savvy) from our very first litter is her big sister in her new home. :-) It was so great to get to see Gemma and the Brock family again.
