In a couple weeks we will have Holly's Great Reveal! Heart and Solberg Kennels is giving away a puppy gift basket to one of our FB group members who comes the closest. Who is Holly? Her true identity has been hidden for many years, but we will soon have answers 🥳. ABOUT HOLLY: She showed up on our doorstep 6 years ago in very rough shape. After tracking down her owner, it was decided she would join our home. She was succumbing to illness and it took a great deal of time, medication, and love to pull her through. *Enjoy the video our daughter made a few years ago.

**The basket will not be shipped so the winner will need to pick up in the Eau Claire surrounding area. If you are from out of town and would still like to submit a guess, feel free to pick a non-profit in our area that we can donate the basket to.

If you wonder how smart an Aussie is....our little Hans (now Aspen) was only with his new family for two days when his talented owner (who I believe is a true dog whisperer) had already taught him this...(Watch the amazing video). Aspen will be in training for agility and obedience competition, and I have no doubt will be winning ribbons. How have they grown up so fast?
Today is these babies last day for mama's milk. And they get to see our amazing Colfax vet for their first vaccinations. In a little more than a week, they get to go to their new families 💗
We'll go outside in the snow again and work on potty training, and they will take turns learning to sleep in a kennel.
It's been a whirlwind, but they are healthy and happy and ready to see new sights 🥰

This is how Bridgett teaches her babies about play. The puppies are still learning how to play without hurting their playmate....so lots of ears get bit and pulled, tails get chewed on, and playmates pin each other down, which can end up in a short snarling puppy fight. But mamas know how to be rough enough for play without making her playmate yelp, which gives her babies a good lesson to take back to the playpen.

King of the blue mountain! It looks like Kristoff is king today, although Hans did knock him off once. This is such a good way to play, exercise, and learn coordination at the same time.

I don't know what's cuter...Hans trying to do the velociraptor impression, or the two sitting there watching him 😁

In case you were wondering how intelligent Aussies are....this young lady is only 6 weeks old. I had to stop the video so I could catch her before she jumped off the other side 😳 She decided she wanted to be outside the play area with her dad.

Alfalfa...just minding his own business - but Violet had different ideas 😆. Don't feel badly for the Alfalfa though. He's done his fair share of surprise attacks 😉
