UPDATE: It looks like a family has been found for this beautiful boy. Thank you to all those who were interested! But there are also many puppies in rescues looking for loving homes too who aren't as fortunate as this baby is. So please be sure to check out the rescues in your area ❤️

This beautiful boy is almost 3 months old. He was part of an accidental litter, **NOT from our breeding program (and we do not have contact information for the owner of the parents). Dad is full border collie, Mom is half border collie, half Australian Shepherd. The family who adopted him 3 weeks ago realized that they are not ready for a puppy, so instead of turning him over to the humane society, they reached out for help. They do not want anything except to make sure he is happy and safe. If you would like more information, please direct message me.
Here is the information they know about him...
**3/4 border collie, 1/4 Aussie, full size not mini
**around 11 weeks old
**so far is good around cats, other dogs, and people
**has shown no aggression, but has a good amount of energy
**is just beginning house training and basic commands
**has not been vet checked by the current owner yet

Please note: Aussies and Border Collies are high energy dogs. They need families who are patient and can provide them with an outlet for their energy. With proper training, these breeds turn into the most wonderful, loyal, hard working dogs. Remember, this little boys' adorable face comes with his personality and energy 🧡💙🩵

UPDATE ON BELLA
In emergency surgery right now!!
This girl is so tough. The last few days she's had significant bouts of diarrhea, and then late this morning I noticed blood on her foot while she was trying to poo, which I figured was coming from her re**um and related to the diarrhea. So very thankful for our Colfax vet clinic!! They squeezed an appointment in for her this afternoon. By the time I got to the vet, Bella had blood on her underside fur as well. The vet said the blood was significant and started checking her over right away. When he gasped, I knew something was more than wrong. Bella had a large gaping hole in her abdomen. It's so deep that a drain pipe has to be put in. Her temperature was rising which meant that she was going to be in much worse shape soon. On top of that, her poo tested positive for a bacterial infection Not only did our Colfax vet squeeze in her appointment, they are also taking care of her emergency surgery right now ❤️

I was in tears all the way home. I have no idea what happened or even when it happened. Bella didn't make a peep or whine at any time, even when the vet had to put a measuring tool in the hole to see how far it went. If I had not been home today, or had not been observant, we might have a much different outcome. She has some significant healing ahead of her ❤️😢🙏

This precious baby was just rescued by our daughter, Denae, in Raleigh. Denae watched as someone dumped a kennel in a laundromat parking lot just now. And when she went to check it out, she found this poor baby inside covered in f***s and obviously scared. Denae already has two cats and a dog so she brought it to their local no kill shelter right away. She said the precious baby was purring while the shelter was scanning for a micro chip.

Better days are ahead for this sweet girl 🩷
