New babies have all finally settled in. Feb/Mar snowmagedden put a dent in our first batch (only 10 of 25) so second batch came this week (17). These 17 will be ready at the beginning of May! 🐣 ❤️

Back in business! After a winter lull, Harmony’s Happy Hens is full of life again! 25 baby chicks arrived in the mail today. We are so excited to share them with the 4 families who have been patiently waiting. They’ll be ready for their forever home by Easter 🐣

We have a new flock stretching their fluffy wings! Harmony incubated eggs from our home flock and we got 15 babies last weekend. We also have a blue egger flock of 15 more coming at the end of the week. They’ll be ready for their new homes mid to late July. Tell your friends!

We’re getting excited for a batch of 15 multicolored Americanas we purchased to arrive, all fluffy and cute, on Memorial Day weekend. And, we’ve started collecting eggs from our first chick who ended up being a rooster and his beautiful flock. We should have a nice batch ready about Aug 1st for their forever home!

Our current flock of 15 chicks are now 5 weeks old and doing great! 10 will be going to an alpaca farm in Garden Valley, while the other few (minus any roos) go to Harmony’s best friend! About 3-5 more weeks and they’ll be ready! They’re getting so big so fast!

Big changes and milestones for Harmony’s Happy Hens today. Our first flock went to their forever home, 15 babies arrived and are settling in, and our new roo “Penguin” officially owns the place 🤣

New babies are coming! We have homes for our current flock of 12 (&2 roosters) but there are more on the way.

Who wants to be our next forever home? In 2-3 months, these babies will be fully feathered and ready for outside, Just in time for Easter 🐣 and within 2-4 months should start laying 🥚!

It was a beautiful weekend in the garden for our 10 babies. They are really looking like chickens. Another batch of babies is on its way this week!

Harmony is an amazing multitasker!
- 2 babies in her lap & 3 in her hair,
- toes under the brooder for warmth,
- laptop up for school and
- iPad with her audiobook tucked in the crevice.

Just watching makes me exhausted but this is truly her happy place ❤️🐣
* don’t look too close at the floor. She’s working on her cleaning skills 😉

Looks like this might be it from our first batch. 3 babies from 46 eggs! Yikes. 20+ more in for 9 days so we’ll see how 2nd batch goes. New chicks every 2 weeks is not a bad thing for my little girl. She’s in heaven. Harmony is loving the cocky personalities on these first 5 chicks. 🐣They are adorable. 😊

Here she is! Chick #1. She’s a peeping healthy fluffy thing 🐣 #2 was still wet but looks good too. And #3 was on her way. Unfortunately 2 others didn’t make it but we still have 7 more to go. Thanksgiving chicks! 🐥
