Thank you to all of my students for another successful year of working and learning together. There were opportunities where I rode alongside my students where we learned from other teachers and opportunities where I rode with brand new people. I am so grateful for that! The end of 2024 finished in a way I never could have imagined by welcoming our beautiful daughter into this world. I am so grateful to my students and teachers who supported me during my pregnancy, especially when the time came to temporarily hang up my chaps. I am also so grateful for this boy right here in this photo. His mental soundness and trustworthiness made it possible for me to keep riding until I was 31 weeks pregnant. I can’t wait for our first ride back with my daughter close by. Next year will be an adjustment as I come back to work with a little one close by, but I look forward to working with my students again and continuing where we left off. See you in 2025!!

Local friends, here’s a great opportunity to donate goods for our equine community!!

We are excited to see everyone this weekend at MTPC Horse Trials but we are also trying to be mindful of the devastation Hurricane Helene has caused.

Hurricane Relief Donation Drop

Middle Tennessee Pony Club will have trailers available at Percy Warner Park Equestrian Center (2500 Old Hickory Blvd; Nashville, TN 37221) Friday Oct 4th - Sunday October 6th serving as a drop off point for equine related donations for those in need as the result of hurricane Helene. We are networking through Lora Schuster / Schuster Show Horses to make sure that all items collected are delivered directly to those in need.
Suggested items are: fencing supplies and tools, gates, work gloves, rubber gloves, equine first aid, buckets, troughs, halters, hay nets, hay feeders.
If you would like to sponsor much needed hay or feed, call Bonnie’s Barnyard 615-395-7679 to purchase and it will be picked up and delivered.

Groundwork skills and equitation under saddle. Test your groundwork skills with using a rope and setting your horse up to drag an object. Equitation exercises at the walk trot and canter. $200 for the day, auditors always welcome for $25
