Anyone who knows me could easily say that I am an enthusiast, supporter, and avid promoter of French Ring sport. As such I will continue to offer my skill set to the Ring Sport community in general. There will no doubt be great photographers and people taking videos at these amazing events, but I am simply offering an additional service presented with my own unique and creative touch.

In the second episode of Behind The Stick, Miles Narnor discusses the use of indirect rewards and how they can be utilized to achieve focus, obedience, as well as build intensity through anticipation. Miles also explains the benefits of balanced dog training that is built upon more positive repetitions and minimizing conflict. Although focused heeling is not required for all Ring Sport training, some handlers and trainers prefer to teach it because it allows them to maintain the dogs focus longer and helps with heeling placement. French Ring, a proteeciton dog sport requires heeling both on leash, and with a muzzle (off of leash) as part of the required obedience exercises for all levels - Brevet, Ring 1, Ring 2, and Ring 3.
