Dolly's patterning in action
We often get asked why we have patients do patterning after neurological injury or surgery. This is Dolly. She had surgery at another facility and dad sought rehabilitation even though she is deep pain negative. With rehab here and work at home, Dolly is very close to being what we call a spinal walker. A spinal walker has no deep pain but can reflexively walk. However, not all deep pain negative dogs can become spinal walkers
Man learns to crawl
Part of rehabilitation is progressing exercises as the patient improves.(and lots of baby talk and cheering) Man is learning to crawl to work on shoulder, core, and paraspinal muscle. It's always fun and exciting seeing them learn.
