Fit Dog Club Pack Walks

Join our monthly Fit Dog Pack Walks to promote health and fitness for dogs and their owners while gaining great leash skills. Enjoy the fresh air, have fun and exercise your dog with our club of dogs and owners every month with AKC Fit Dog trainer Debbie. The pack walk is great for socializing the dogs and some humans too! The pack walk can be the beginning of a healthy lifestyle by walking your dog on a regular basis and will be held monthly. Ask Debbie how to receive your free Fit Dog magnet from the AKC.

All dogs need to be on a 4–6-foot leash and will get to train and exercise simultaneously while forming positive canine and human relationships in new surroundings. Positive reinforcement for socialization skills is a standard part of the experience, and Fit Dog titles can be earned as well. Pre-registration and pre-payment required.

Puppy Play 'N Train:

Puppy foundation training is one of the most important things you can do with your pup to make them a well behaved and well-adjusted adult dog. This 6 week class introduces you and your pup to various training methods and commands, how to curb negative behavior such as jumping and mouthing, crate training and housebreaking and how to greet and socialize with dogs and people. It also includes playtime with the other puppies in each class and sometimes the trainer's adult dog for balance. Interested in your puppy achieving the AKC S.T.A.R. certificate? It is just an extra $10!

Class is open to puppies who are 5 months and younger at the start of class and have had at least their first round of core vaccines (please note most puppies are too young for rabies so that is not required for this class.) Read the AVSAB position statement on socialization before fully vaccinated by clicking here. Class size ranges from 2 to 8 puppies.
