Not only do we 🏇🏽 at , but we get dirty and wear a smile while doing it!

My favorite unmounted topic to cover with students is ⭐️Hoof Care⭐️

Without proper hoof care, we no longer have a horse to ride! Or at least a sound and comfortable horse🤯

Our Head Trainer, Taylor Hiatt, who is also a farrier, has students observe and then they lead by example! Trimming, rasping, & beveling the toe. It’s hard work, but very rewarding to know that you are offering your very best for the horse! Our riders understand the hard work that is put into the job of a farrier and how important it is to have hoof care professional’s that know what they’re doing!

You don’t know til you try! and all we ask is that you try😉

As we continue to move forward in the training program with Bailey, it’s important that we develop awareness for what her needs may be. She’s a very sweet mare that’s insecure and doubts the rider at times. During the lesson setting we brought in another horse to offer peaceful energy and create an environment where Bailey could recognize the rider as a leader. Our goal moving forward will be to convince Bailey to rely on us for support and trust that we have her best interest in mind!
