We just received the update that Leona’s belly has dropped and is moving into whelping position! THIS GIRL NEEDS A HERO NOW!! 😭🙏 Momma could be euthanized TODAY! The Plainview shelter does not have the resources to care for newborn pups and will euthanize any expecting mothers before they go into labor! Leona does not have much longer to find a home. 💔💔💔

Condition: Intact male, toothless, completely blind

Possum was brought to us as a stray today after being found in someone’s home with their elderly parent who, due to dementia, was unsure how he arrived. Despite his challenges, Possum is sweet and handled processing like a champ, though he’s a little wiggly.

He needs watered-down wet food to eat, but this gentle senior still has love to give and deserves to live out his golden years in comfort.

Safe travels SCRAT and PIPPA 🎉✈️🇺🇸🇩🇪

Scrat was saved by our awesome friend Angie in Laredo and PIPPA was the sweet terrified girl in OK-city shelter euth listed.
Both are very loving happy bouncy pups now fully vetted and off to their new homes in Germany with kathrin and Toby and pippa with Miriam!
Thank you Isabel for helping them across the ocean!

Urgent: Phoebe Needs a Foster/Adopter!

Phoebe, a 1-year-old, 44lb Lab x Pit Mix, has just been discovered to be pregnant with 1 puppy!!!!! She was picked up as a stray late October and never claimed, and now her independent foster is unable to keep her. If a new foster or adopter isn't found by this weekend, she will have to head to the shelter. Phoebe is in desperate need of a place to go!

Extremely affectionate and loving
Loves to cuddle under the blanket with you
Friendly with ALL people of ALL ages (Kid-Friendly)
