Some kitties get a rough start. This baby is about 8 weeks old, mysteriously left at a farm. His new family brought him to Dr. McNeil for help. His problem list includes: broken front leg, broken jaw, ear mites, gooey eye and malnutrition. He went home with appropriate treatment and a plan to get fixed in a few weeks when he’s had pain control, other supportive care and has stabilized. In a year this sweetie will have healed and be a new man! He spent most of his appointment grooming himself. 💕💕

Another warning! This puppy was having a wonderful afternoon until he ate his brother’s bandana from the groomer! Mommy brought him to see Dr. McNeil within 20 minutes and she helped him vomit up the foriegn body avoiding expensive surgery. The bandana still had a knot in it that could have made a serious blockage. Good job mommy!

If you are considering adding a pet to your family please check with local shelters. Now there are many puppies and kitties looking for homes. There are also wonderful pets who are waiting for new families only because their families moved or couldn’t afford to feed them in this difficult economy.
