๐ฆ Thanksgiving Pet Food Safety Tips! ๐ฆ
As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, letโs not forget our furry friends whoโd love a taste of the holiday cheer! Hereโs a quick guide to safe Thanksgiving treats for your dog:
๐ Turkey (plain, no skin, bones, or seasoning) - A few pieces of fully cooked turkey are a tasty, protein-packed treat! ๐ถ
๐ฅ Veggies like carrots, green beans, and sweet potatoes (plain & unseasoned) - These make a great crunch and are loaded with healthy nutrients! ๐ฝ๐ฅ
๐ Sweet Potatoes - A bite or two of plain, cooked sweet potato is paw-fect. Avoid any marshmallows or spices!
๐ Apples (remove seeds and core) - These make a sweet treat with lots of fiber!
๐ฅ Pumpkin (plain, canned) - Not just for pies! Plain pumpkin is great for their digestion.
Foods to Avoid:
๐ซ Stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes with butter, garlic, onions, and desserts with chocolate or xylitol.
Allow your pet a quiet space they can retreat to in case the holiday celebration becomes too much. Letโs keep our pups safe and happy this holiday! ๐
