Meet the dynamic trio: Jackson, Jameson, and Vegas! 🐾 Each with their own unique personality, these Toy Fox Terriers bring a whole lot of love and laughter into our lives. Vegas, the eldest and the fetch enthusiast, is always ready to chase after his toy with unwavering determination, his tail wagging with pure joy. Jackson, the middle child, is the ultimate cuddle bug, never failing to melt our hearts with his affectionate nature and longing for scratches. And then there’s Jameson, the mischievous youngest pup, whose playful antics keep us on our toes and ensure there’s never a dull moment in the house. Together, they form an inseparable bond, teaching us the true meaning of family, fun, and unconditional love. 🌟 Here’s to the endless games of fetch, cozy cuddle sessions, and playful mischief with our beloved trio! ❤️

Zenith and Finn are Shetland Sheepdogs and Trillian is a Border Collie. They all love their intermittent drop-in visits with Emily and enjoy showing off all their agility tricks in the yard! The best part of our job is the looks on the faces of the dogs who find their perfect family. When foster dogs enter our program, they have all lived in at least four homes: the home where they were born, at least one home they were adopted to, at least one shelter they were relinquished to, and then their ABRT foster’s home. Dogs are social animals who are designed to stick with the same family from the time they are born. This type of chaos feels intrinsically unsafe, and so many of the dogs don’t have a sense that they can trust the humans in their life because they are nothing but temporary. But that all changes when an adoption from ABRT is final. There is a palpable sense of security and trust that is present in the room whenever the perfect family finds *their* dog. That is life changing for the dogs in our program, and it’s one of the reasons that we love doing what we do. Stella and Adele might not want to share their ice cream, but they want every dog to feel the sense of belonging and love that they feel every day. Help us meet this match to ensure that we can continue helping dogs find their forever homes, and quiet the howling winds of change that torment the sweetest souls we know.

Maverick is an older German Shepard who loves to play and Benson is a domestic shorthair who is always there for treat time. Introducing Diesel, our dashing Staffordshire Terrier-Dalmatian mix who joined the pack in July 2024! 🖤 With Lauren as his primary walker, Diesel has quickly become the star of every adventure. He’s got a few favorite hobbies: splashing around in the creek near his house, catching treats mid-air like a pro, and making sure every single plant on his path gets a good sniff. 🌿 But that’s not all—Diesel is also a natural in front of the camera, always ready to sit and pose for the perfect shot. Whether he’s exploring the outdoors or showing off his photo-ready smile, Diesel brings joy to every moment. 🐾

Meet Xander & Freya, two of the sweetest pups you’ll ever meet! 🐾 Xander, our 12-year-old Italian Greyhound and Rat Terrier mix, may be a senior, but he’s full of love and always ready for his visits and walks. He’s the perfect little friend for Freya, our 6-year-old gentle giant. Freya is a beautiful mix of Standard Poodle and Irish Wolfhound, and her joy is contagious! Whether she’s greeting you with pure excitement or enjoying her time outside, she’s always full of energy and love. Together, these two make every day brighter! 🌟

Meet the fur squad! 🐾 🐶 Meeka: This 8-year-old shepherd mix and the oldest of the trio. She has a keen nose and loves nothing more than rolling in the grass and sniffing everything in sight. 🐾 Asher: This 3-year-old sheltie is the most vocal of the bunch. He loves saying hi to all the neighbor dogs and chasing around the yard with Shadow. When he’s not on the run, you can find him scavenging for treats – his favorite pastime. ❄️ Shadow: At just 9 months old, this young husky is full of spunk and energy. He adores everyone and everything, especially his playtime with Asher. With Macy as their main weekly sitter and Emily doing the overnights, they bring endless joy and love to our pack. 🐕💕

Meet our adorable duo, Charlie & Snoopy! 🐾 Charlie, our 9-year-old Plott Hound mix, is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly with some love and attention. He absolutely loves his walks and always tries to lead the way, showing everyone where to go. Treats are his absolute favorite, and after a long day, there’s nothing he loves more than snuggling up in bed. Emily is his main walker/sitter, but Macy and Megan occasionally take over the reins. 🛌🍖 Snoopy, our sweet 6-year-old Blue Tick Hound, is always ready to greet you at the door with his wagging tail and a big heart full of love. He adores sniffing out all the good smells on his walks and is always up for some snuggle time. Like Charlie, treats are a big hit with Snoopy, and he also loves playing with his toys. 🧸🍖 These two hounds have been part of our pack since January 2024, and they bring so much joy and love into our lives every single day.

Meet Leo, our playful Pitbull/Doberman mix! 🐾 Leo joined our family in November 2023 and has been melting our hearts ever since. At 5 years old, he’s full of energy and love. His favorite activity is taking walks around the park, where he loves kicking up dirt and chasing after foxes and rabbits. After his adventures, he can’t wait to get home to his beloved frozen Kong treat, especially on hot summer days. Leo’s primary walker, Lauren, makes sure he gets all the exercise and cuddles he needs. We adore our sweet Leo! 🐶❤️

Meet our beloved Bailee! 🐶✨ This spunky girl has been with the pack since April 2024, and we couldn’t be happier. Bailee is a beautiful Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix and is 3 years old. Her energetic and loving personality brightens our days—she adores everyone and everything she meets! Bailee’s favorite activities include going on long walks and soaking up all the belly rubs she can get at home. Macy is Bailee’s main sitter and has done an incredible job caring for her. This sweet girl has made our lives so much richer, and we cherish every moment with her. 💕🐾

Meet Lehky, our 1-year-9-month-old pit bull mix! 🐾 Since joining our pack in November 2023, he’s been melting hearts with his love for people and walks. He’s always on the lookout for birds and rabbits, and his nose is constantly in explorer mode. Treats are the way to his heart—string cheese, bananas, and peanut butter are his faves! 🧀🍌🥜

Meet Frances, our 14-year-old mini schnauzer who joined us in November 2023! 🐾 Though Nick, her beloved pet sitter, moved back to Massachusetts in March, she cherished her time with him during his drop-in visits last December. Frances loves exploring the backyard and is super chill. It takes her a bit to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’s all about the snuggles. 💕

Meet our adorable pals, Charlotte and Franky! 🐾 Charlotte: A spunky 15-year-old terrier mix who’s full of energy. She absolutely loves her walks, exploring the neighborhood, and, of course, treats! 🌟 Franky: A playful 6-year-old cattle dog mix who’s always up for an adventure. He enjoys hikes, backyard fun, and playing with his favorite sticks and toys! 🌳 Emily and Lauren have had the joy of being their main sitters since January 2024. They get to spend lots of quality time with overnight snuggles and fun drop-in play dates . 🥰

Meet Murphy, our adorable 9-year-old Australian Shepherd mix! 🐾 He’s a bit shy at first, but once you get to know him, he’s the sweetest snuggle buddy. Murphy loves nothing more than cozying up and hanging out with his favorite humans. Macy, his trusted pet sitter, looks after him whenever mom is at work. Since joining our family in March 2024, Murphy has been melting our hearts every day! 🐶💕

Meet Luke! 🐾 Our loyal 11-year-old Border Collie has been a part of our family since September of 2023. Matt takes the reins as Luke’s primary walker, with schedules that align mainly with our skiing trips. Luke may be shy at first, but once he’s out and about, he’s all about the adventure! Plus, he’s a big fan of treats. Here’s to many more ski trips and tail-wagging walks with our beloved Luke! 🐶❄️

Meet Rio! 🐾 This adventurous 4-year-old Cattle Dog Mix has been a part of our family since June 2023. Matt takes the lead as Rio’s primary walker, with schedules that adapt to the owners’ needs. Rio’s favorite activities include exploring the neighborhood and endless rounds of fetch in the backyard. Here’s to many more tail-wagging adventures with our adorable Rio! 🐶💫

Introducing Loki! 🐾 This 12-year-old German Shepherd has stolen our hearts since joining the pack back in July 2023. Megan is his primary pet sitter, taking care of everything from nail trims to rehab therapy, while Macy pitches in occasionally! Loki’s favorite pastimes include leisurely sniffing around and sunbathing in the yard, but he’s equally fond of cozy snuggles indoors. Oh, and did we mention treats? He’s a BIG fan!
