This blocky-headed cuddle muffin is ready for a fresh start—and we’re hoping his journey begins with a loving foster home right here in Colorado 💙

💙 Meet Boaz 💙
- 4 years old | 80 lbs of squishy love
- Neutered, vaccinated, crate trained, house trained
- Kid-friendly and dog-social (but prefers not to share snacks—same, buddy 🍗)

Boaz does have a little quirk: he guards high-value treats and food. So he’s looking for:
🐾 A pet-free foster home OR
🐾 An experienced foster who’s ready to team up with us to help him work through it (we’ll provide all the support!)

🌟 Foster Spotlight: Biylana 🌟

Biylana has been an incredible part of the White Rose Sanctuary family! She’s always ready to jump in at the last minute to help with transports, runs our Instagram, and even secures donations for the Sanctuary. 💙

Her amazing daughter, who runs Ava’s Treats, has also shown huge support—donating proceeds and gift cards for raffles to help our pups. And if that’s not enough, Biylana has even made some of our awesome hats and shirts! 🐾

She truly is a rockstar, juggling homeschooling, the family business, and all the love she pours into rescue work.

As fellow rescues and non-profit organizations, we all know how much costs have gone up—veterinary care, food, supplies, equipment, and everything in between.

With that in mind, what do you think is a fair adoption fee for a dog? 💭
Our main goal will always be to find the best possible home and ensure each pup’s future is brighter than their past—but we also have to stay sustainable so we can keep saving lives.

We’d love to hear your thoughts, experience, and advice on what feels fair and balanced for both rescues and adopters. 💙🐶

Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed,
All nicely tucked in my warm new bed.

I'd like to open my baggage Lest I forget,
There is so much to carry - So much to regret.

Hmm . . . Yes there it is, right on the top
Let's unpack Loneliness, Heartache and Loss,

And there by my leash hides Fear and Shame.
As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave -
I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain.

I loved them, the others, the ones who left me,
But I wasn't good enough - for they didn't want me.

Will you add to my baggage? Will you help me unpack?
Or will you just look at my things - And take me right back?

Do you have the time to help me unpack?
To put away my baggage, To never repack?

I pray that you do - I'm so tired you see,
But I do come with baggage - Will you still want me?

🌿 Meet Rosemary 🌿

This very sweet girl has been through so much. Rosemary came to us after being hit by a car, scared and in pain. 💔 But thanks to our incredible vet team and kennel staff, she was cared for every step of the way — receiving gentle treatment, endless love, and of course, plenty of yummy snacks to lift her spirits. 🍪💖

Now, Rosemary is feeling so much better and ready to find a home where she’ll be cherished forever. She’s resilient, loving, and grateful for every kind word and soft touch.

🐾 Lenny Update! 🐾

Lenny has been making incredible progress thanks to her amazing foster mom! 💙 She’s dedicated so much time to her muzzle training—a crucial step for Lenny’s safety and confidence.

In less than a month, this smart pup went from simply learning what a muzzle is to being completely comfortable wearing it. She even went on a 30-minute hike like it wasn’t even there! 🥰

We’re so proud of Lenny and beyond grateful for the patience, love, and effort her foster mom continues to pour into her journey. 💪🐶

We’re deeply honored to partner with the amazing Becky Baker Foundation, founded by Mr. Rick Baker in memory of his wife, Becky—a courageous breast cancer warrior who also had a soft spot for dogs.
