We are excited to announce the return of the Live Puppy Cam at the Denali Kennels! The sire is a park lead dog Steward, and the dame, Olive, comes from a well-respected partner kennel in Healy, Alaska. The puppies were born on June 18, 2022.

In commemoration of the 100th year of operation or , these puppies share their names with the first dogs acquired by Harry Karstens to patrol the park in 1922: Bos'n, Skipper, Dynamite, Mike, and Rowdy.

Friends in Omaha! While you're out and about this weekend stop by Nature Dog to take a peak at baby cat Reeves! Reeves was brought to HUA after he had been found sick and cold, outside all by himself. He's the nicest little boy. Car rides are OK with him. Dogs are OK with him. Other kitties are OK with him. Reeves is just an all around great little fellow. He is staying at Nature Dog in the hope of finding his very own family. He is about 7 months old and just as sweet as he can be.

Cocoa Bear lost his home because his family did not have time for him. This kiddo is a gem. Thirty pounds is a little hefty for a Cockapoo, so Cocoa currently has some food restrictions. CLAUS NEEDS A FOSTER!!!! HE IS A MELLOW DOG. HE IS 5 YEARS OLD. HE GETS ALONG WITH DOGS AND LOVES PEOPLE.

FOSTER IN TEXAS SAID:

Fitting name for such a giving dog! Just like Santa, a giver!!! Claus is a gentle giant, I would go as far to say he would be a wonderful addition to a family with small children or even babies. Laid back, loving, low energy level, fantastic watchdog to let you know when there is nearby movement and such a kind spirit. Amazing with my older dog, but he is a people dog. Very good in the shower, never aggressive, just wants hugs and kisses.
Claus is high maintenance with his long hair. He loves to be brushed and would probably benefit from professional grooming. Definitely not an outside dog unless with his people. Car rider like a pro! Claus lays in the back seat and observes. No seat jumping, panting, or stress.
If Claus had a fault, it would be his lack of eating. I have tried 4 different kinds of wet food, dry food, dry food with chicken broth to no avail. Perhaps stress or he only knew people food?
I did eventually give him cheese and hot dogs which he gobbled up- he is a very picky eater but still a good weight!
Claus feels comfortable with just loving and sweet words, he is a confident gentleman. House broken, only marked his territory day one, then stopped and does his business outside. This is a special boy for someone looking for a low energy giant, loyal and with so much love to give. Not a mean bone in his body. Other dogs could easily bully him and he'd just take it but we know that won't be the case for this guy. He is going to be well loved!

HE IS ON THE SMALLER SIZE FOR A PYRENEES. HE IS 63 POUNDS.
