Ludwig is working towards off leash training. He has a solid foundation in basic on-leash obedience and just needs the finishing touches to be an amazing dog!

Nova is about to test for her PAT (public access test) with our program.

She has been a part of the program for over a year and has had some incredible improvements in the last few weeks.

She is a very social dog and is what has kept her back in the past, just not being able to keep control around distractions!

Isha is a service dog in training for a wonderful family and young lady who will really need her services

We are going to build detection skills so she can alert her owner and her mom to changes in her health.

1.2.3.4 awesome dogs!

Making sure they are comfortable in close quarters with other dogs before they take their Canine Good Citizen test!

Huge progression from both Latte (doodle) and Teddy (lab/pit) in just a few short months!

Today we did a moc test and both are already looking just about ready!

Ashley is a SD in training! She unfortunately had a few incidents before we started that escalated her reactivity into aggression and they needed an in intervention!

We are so much more clear how to handle these problems and Ashley has already made huge strides in her confidence and understanding that she doesn't need to feel that way!

Super excited to work with this team!

Nova is a service dog in training currently practicing for her Public Access Test with the program.

She is a very loving dog and is her only problem! She loves too much! Nova will need to master some impulse control and discipline in order to pass the test in 6 weeks!

A big welcome to Gilly!

Gilly is "sisters" with Riley and the two are perfect together!

Gilly is also a jack of all trades. From the wall climb all the way to service dog training! Gilly is a dog that will teach you patience and how to work with, or against the emotions that go along with dog training.

We have come a long way in cleaning up communication and building the drive to work in high stress environments!

It is always a pleasure to work with this team!

A big welcome to MoMo!

Momo is actually a rescue dog from pueblo who came for behavior modification for extreme prey drive that lead to reactivity and aggression.

He had clearly been in at least one fight by the time he was picked up by animal control and was believed to have belonged to someone who may fight them

MoMo may have been a bait dog, a fight dog, a yard dog or just someone's pet who got out and got into it with some random dog. The rescue world is crazy huh......

Wherever he started, we got him to a point where he could be entirely neutral around other dogs while in obedience. He may never get to a point where he likes other dogs or will probably never be allowed to play with them, but he can exist around them and that can allow him to have a great life with the right owner.

A big welcome to Queenie!

Queenie just finished her behavior modification course focusing on her reactivity!

She is such a sweet girl but that prey drive was out of control!

With just a few weeks of good obedience training and then using the skills learned we were able to approach her problem areas and teach her appropriate behaviors to substitute with her "bad" behaviors.

Why "bad" behaviors? Well she isn't doing anything that is out of her genetic wheelhouse. She was just never taught to deal with her drives in a productive manner or learned the proper way to demonstrate control of her impulses.

She is on her way to much better walks, outings, and just a more level headed life!

Riley trains for EVERYTHING including her most recent goal of becoming a certified service dog for her handler.

Riley helps with mobility, alerting and hopefully learning a retrieve soon!
