Fresh out of closing our Retro Katz show, we are now preparing for our next show, Purranormal Cat Show 2025, at Under the Sun Training and Event Center in Colorado Springs, the weekend of October 25-26, 2025. Put it on your calendar.

Garden of the Cats (Colorado Springs) will remain open for entries and I will not run the catalog until tomorrow at noon. We also reserve the right to take late entries, but those will be in late pages.

Garden of the cats is staying open until Wednesday night at 7 PM for entries for this weekend. Numbers are going up, which is fantastic. Thanks to all who have entered so far. We hope we deliver on everything we promise. It’s gonna be a great show.Don’t forget that we’re going to have a set up social on Friday around 6 PM. Pizza and ice cream while you’re set your stuff up.

Want to show your cat? Your beautiful baby doesn't need to be pedigreed to show. TICA shows have two classes to show non-pedigreed cats (Household Pet kitten and Household Pet adults). These two classes are just as competitive as our pedigreed classes, and the cats vie for awards and titles just like pedigreed cats. We have negotiated an HCM clinic on Saturday (only) at our show in Colorado Springs being held on April 5 - 6, 2025. The clinic will be only for Saturday and we will have forms from the vet for those of you who will have cats for a scan.

Each scan is $250. They will only be able to take checks or cash.

The following is the vet who will be doing the scans:

Our next featured rescued cat that is looking for her new home is Milan. She has been spayed and will be micro chipped and she is located in the Pueblo area. Milan is a short leg minuet. If you are interested, go to our website and fill out an application

We are open for entries for our Colorado Springs Retro Katz show in April (April 5-6). We have 14 different judges and 6 congresses. Plus, we are doing a fun judging on Saturday. Our Saturday judges will pick one cat of all they handle (kittens, adult championship, alters, and HHPs) to fit the category they are assigned. This is in lieu of the Best of the Best. We figure there are some cats out there (we've all had them) that might fit these special categories and it would be cool to recognize them. Those categories and judges are as follows:

Fate Mays: Best Groomed
Harley DeVilbiss: Class Clown
Jorge Garnica: Best dressed
Nikki Crandall-Seibert: Grumpy Cat
Kitti Ruttan: Most Congenial
Jamie Christian: Drama Queen
Charlotte Shea: Wallflower

We will be giving the awards for the above categories on Sunday morning. Please realize that these categories do not gain any points in TICA for regional or international awards or for titles. It is all in good fun.

We will be announcing further activities further down the line. We have a lot planned that might interest you, so keep posted.

And when you enter, scroll down the TOES page for our show to see what food we will have. If it strikes your fancy, put it in the notes of your entry and we will repeat it back to you and add the cost to your entry fee.

Queenie is our featured adoptable cat from Garden of the Cats' rescue of over 20 cats from a bad breeder/hoarding situation on December 7, 2024. Queenie is a munchkin with no tail.
