Dear clients, friends and family, I would like to be transparent and post here my procedures for keeping everyone's babies safe:

In shop, I use top performance original 256 disinfectant inbetween each dog on every surface. I use virex II - 256 (Hospital grade) for spraying down tub and floors and kennels each night, barbicide for all tools, blades, combs and such used (I have 3 sets of all equipment so it can soak sufficiently before being used again), and all towels get bleached during the washing and rinsed twice and put through high heat drying cycle twice. I use STAR BRITE PERFORMACIDE for yards, walkways and sidewalks in both the front and the back yards. I also have changed my schedule to only working every other day so I can air out shop for 24 hours inbetween working days.
Like I said, most of us little grooming shops are taking all precautions and safety protocols, even more than most, because small businesses stand everything to lose by being anything other than 100% safe for their clients.

I have many clients that are vets or vet techs and have been told that there is gross misrepresentation of this virus in the media.
Vet clinic's who have grooming facilities inside their offices are still booking appts, yet are telling everyone to not go to their own groomer. Covid shutdowns were a disaster for many dogs and many breeds require the upkeep in a regular basis. I encourage everyone to reach out to your groomer and ask about their procedures if you have concerns. It will really suck when all the small business groomers have to shutdown and are no longer available to you.

Hey everyone. I want to briefly discuss the virus that we are all hearing about and some of us have experienced first hand in relation to your pups. We will be changing our scheduling so as to ensure that pets are kept seperate and there is time inbetween each pup to sanitize thoroughly. Our shop is at my home and so it already does not have the flow of doggie traffic like larger shops and thus has been and is alot safer. I encourage people to ask your groomers what they are doing to insure your dogs safety and as always, please feel free to call or text me at 919-888-6236.
Remember that small businesses will have to close if they can't get enough business to keep their doors open and then you won't have your groomer at all. Talk to your groomer. We are all in this together as we love your fur babies too.

The following are a few protocols that will help keep everyone's furry pups healthy:
1. If your pup is showing any signs of illness, please keep them home.
2. Don't take your pup to dog parks and/or places where dogs interact with each other (actual contact)
3. If you do take your pup to the groomer, be on time and pick up on time so they can schedule safely.

I got the privilege of grooming this sweet boy today. This is Brody.
The first 3 pics are before his bath
The 4th pic is after his bath all blown out with clean face and feet
The last 3 pics are after he was finished. This takes about 4 hours of hands on time. I LOVE grooming standard poodles! They are one of my favorite breeds to groom! 🥰🥰

A few housekeeping rules I would like to remind all of my clients of:

All credit/debit cards will be charged a 4% fee.

Pls be on time- After 30 minutes your pets appointment is cancelled and there is a $25 no show fee attached to your next grooming.

No shows, missed appointments and last minute cancelations: I make every effort to be extremely reliable and rarely reschedule appointments, please be mindful, as no shows, missed appts and last minute cancelatios cost me alot in money and time. It leaves huge holes in my schedule in which I'm stuck at the shop but dont get paid for my time being there… after one no show or last minute cancelation, there will be a $25 fee...after two, I'll have to ask you to prepay for the whole appointment in order to book it. ☹️

I totally get that life happens to all of us but my time is valuable to not only myself, but also to my little one. She depends on me 100%.

99% of my clients are the absolute best!! And I appreciate this sooooo much!! Being late to appointments and no shows are costing time and money and make it difficult to stay on schedule or even attempt to have one. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for understanding. I appreciate your pets and your business ♥️

He was such a good boy for all the brushing and dematting. ❤❤❤ Hopefully now that he's back in good shape we can get him on a schedule that keeps his coat at its best.
