Keeping your pet active during the colder months can be tricky, but maintaining a healthy weight is crucial for their overall wellness. ​

For our dog patients, we recommend indoor tug-of-war, indoor fetch, and interactive toys. ​

For our cat patients, additional cardboard boxes never hurt – along with laser pointers, birdwatch stations, and interactive toys. ​

Annual blood panels help us assess internal health including liver and kidney function, metabolic disease, and blood counts. During yesterday's staff meeting, we took time to reflect on the rewarding nature of our work. We were deeply touched by the wonderful feedback we've received from our clients (thank you!), and we shared personal stories of the positive impact you've had on our lives. The meeting was filled with emotion, including tears of gratitude, heartfelt hugs, and joyful laughter. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care for your pets because we genuinely love what we do and are deeply invested in our work.

Paw Plan PETS of the week!

On Valentine's Day 2020, David met a sniffly pup at Lost Dog and Cat Rescue. This was Crane, (secret agent name), who David fostered and then adopted, renaming him Drake. Later that year, another foster arrived: Vanilla (secret agent name), who became Dusty. Drake and Dusty were instant best friends, so Dusty became a permanent part of the family too.
These two became foster brothers to many other rescue dogs. Affectionate Drake carries his pink piggy toy everywhere, while independent Dusty loves tennis balls. Drake is a champion cuddler, while Dusty will happily nudge Drake out of the way for belly rubs.
David is grateful for their paw plans, which keep them healthy and happy. He cherishes his two furry companions and hopes for many more years of happy squeaks and bounces. Drake (Agent Crane) and Dusty (Agent Vanilla), the unlikely spy duo, found their forever home and live happily ever after.

With the holiday season in full effect, we know that there may be treats on your pet’s wish list. We also know that you are likely tired of the toothbrushing battle. Which is why we recommend dental treats!
Dental treats are a great way to reduce the severity of periodontal disease.

We urge our pet parents to look for the VOHC Seal of Acceptance and to avoid hard treats such as synthetic or natural bones.
