As we close on 2024 we would like to reflect on one of the patients we helped this year, Bravo. Bravo came in after being hit by a car and required expensive care that his owners were able to cover thanks to a helping hand.

Not all are so fortunate, which is why we encourage any who can to donate to our myBalto fund to offer a lifeline to those in need—helping pets like Bravo get the care they deserve and keeping families whole. Please, consider giving today. Your kindness can change everything.

Maximo came to us after being hit by a car, and our team sprang into action! We quickly resolved his tension pneumothorax and performed CPR, bringing him back within just 4 minutes. Within the hour, he was wagging his tail while laying on the table during his post-arrest monitoring.

We placed bilateral nasal cannulas and kept him under intensive monitoring and oxygen. Incredibly, within 24 hours, he seemed to be back to normal, only needing one additional thoracocentesis. Thanks to the swift and dedicated efforts of our amazing staff, Maximo recovered exceptionally well and is now back to being a very happy, tail-wagging boy! 🎉🐾
