We would like to give a big thank you to everyone who came out Thursday evening and supported our Bowling for Rhinos event! We could not be more grateful for the wonderful turnout and the funds we raised for rhinos. Everyone who attended and donated has helped these wonderful creatures in the wild!

Cheers for Rhinos Fundraiser is TODAY!!!!

Come join us at Happy Tap (1757 S 8th St, Colorado Springs, CO 80905) to support a local brewery and rhinos!!
The brewery will be donating $1 of every pint sold all day to rhino conservation. Most attendees from the zoo will be at the brewery by 5:30pm.

A HUGE thank you to Linda Finch, and the CMZ chatters for holding a raffle to raise funds for our AAZK chapter for National Zoo Keepers Week this year! They generously donated $500 to our chapter to continue our mission in helping Zookeepers connect people with animals and fostering an appreciation for the natural world. Thank you so much for all your continued support of Cheyenne Mountain Zoo!

Hi all! Come join us September 3rd at Happy Tap for our annual Cheers for Rhino event! The brewery will be donating $1 of every pint sold all day to rhino conservation. Roc and Ro Sushi food truck will be there as well and they will also be donating a portion of their food sales to rhinos. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

A HUGE thank you To everyone for coming out and supporting CMZ AAZK’s Art on the Hoof.
We hope you had a wonderful night enjoying the beautiful venue, delicious food and went home with an amazing piece of art!
Thanks to all of our live artists at the event and artists that donated their gorgeous pieces and our silent auction donors. Also thanks to Red Moon Rounder for the evenings music, Chris Bobko for a great presentation on the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary and the committee that worked so hard to make all this happen!

We are extremely excited and honored to have Christine Bobko as our guest speaker this year! She will be presenting on Sumatran rhino conservation and the Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary.

Christine Bobko is a zookeeper at Denver Zoo’s Toyota Elephant
Passage. She has worked with rhinos for 32 years and is heavily
involved in rhino conservation efforts. In 2018, Christine visited the
Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary in Indonesia. Over the last 30 years, she has
organized countless conservation fundraisers, and is a founding Board
of Directors member, vice president and fundraising chair for the
International Rhino Keeper Association (IRKA). Christine has also been
involved with the Katie Adamson Conservation Fund, which has raised
$1.12 million dollars for conservation. She is currently the Events
Coordinator for the organization’s largest fundraiser- Katie’s Night.
