currently, So Much for Pets local pet advocacy group is run from my home. So Much For Pets was established in 2012 by Terry Shattuck as a way to assist animal welfare organizations with funding and equipment and as a way to say thanks to my dog Macushla and cat Molly. We began by going to garage sales and buying pet things to give to one local shelter. from those humble beginnings, we have grown c

onsiderably and have donated several thousand dollars to groups around the entire world and have given tons of equipment to shelters all over Colorado and western Nebraska. We have responded to daily needs and several catastrophes such as fires, tornados, explosions, cyclones, floods, etc. we raise money by buying and reselling just about anything and everything, specializing in pet equipment and handicapped people equipment. we have a "store" in the founders home.

And here's an update from Balsam's person, Pat. "Thank you again for helping out with the removal of Balsam's leg growth. I got the results back late this afternoon, and it's something called a trichoblastoma, non-malignant, and with clean margins! Yay! He's going in to the vet tomorrow to have it checked because the bottom half of the two inch incision has been oozing a bit. They think it's just part of the healing process but I just want to make sure it's not infected. Thank you again!"

We're always thrilled when those nasty growths turn out to be benign!
