Sit, stay, treat! 🍖 Training your dog doesn't have to be a chore. Check out our top tips for teaching basic commands to your pup:

1. Start with "Sit":
Hold a treat close to your dog's nose.
Move your hand up, allowing their head to follow the treat and their bottom to lower.
Once they're in a sitting position, say "Sit" and give them the treat along with affection.

2. Teach "Stay":
Ask your dog to sit first.
Open your palm in front of them and say "Stay."
Take a few steps back, then return and reward them if they stay put.
Gradually increase the distance and duration.

3.Consistency is key: Use the same commands regularly.

4. Positive Reinforcement: Reward good behavior immediately. (Our healthy, delicious dog chews are perfect for this!)

5. Be Patient: Every dog learns at their own pace.

6.Vary the Environment: Practice in different settings for better results.

Here are 5 great tools you can have in your home to make cleaning your best friend a breeze:

🧴 A High-Quality Shampoo: Dogs are exposed to all sorts of elements that can cause their fur to become matted and dirty. That's why it's important to invest in a high-quality shampoo that will deep-clean your dog's fur without stripping away the natural oils that protect their skin. We recommend using a shampoo that contains oatmeal, which is known for its ability to soothe dry, itchy skin.

🪮 A Good Brush: Brushing your dog on a regular basis will ensure your dog’s fur continues to look its best. We recommend using a slicker brush, which is designed to remove tangles and mats from even the thickest coats. Be sure to brush your dog in the direction of their hair growth to avoid causing any irritation.
