🌾 Winter Feed Planning: Your Guide to Smart Hay Storage

Don't let winter weather disrupt your feeding routine! Being prepared isn't just about having enough - it's about having quality hay stored properly and easily accessible when storms hit. Here's your winter hay checklist:

- Store 10-15% more than your calculated needs
- Keep hay elevated and covered
- Check moisture levels regularly
- Ensure easy access during storms
- Rotate stock to maintain freshness
- Store in multiple locations if possible

Remember: Winter storms can last longer than expected, and transportation delays are common. Having an extra supply isn't just convenient—it's essential for your animals' well-being!

🌡️ Winter Weather Warning: Protect Your Horse

Cold stress isn't just about comfort—if left unchecked, it can lead to serious health issues. Being able to spot the early warning signs gives you the power to act quickly and keep your horse healthy during harsh winter weather. Monitor your horse closely during cold snaps and temperature drops, especially senior horses or those with thinner coats.

Need help creating a winter care plan or have concerns about your horse's cold tolerance? Our veterinary team is here to help ensure your horse stays warm and healthy all season long.
