🌼 Millie is looking for her perfect forever home! 🐾

Millie is a sweet and loyal girl, but she’s made it clear that small, fast-moving children make her nervous. Because of that, we won’t be placing her in a home with young kids — her comfort and safety always come first.

We’re often asked why she’s nervous around children, especially since she was raised with them. The truth is… we don’t really know. No child was ever mean to her, and nothing happened to cause it. As she matured, it just became clear that kiddos were overwhelming to her. It’s simply part of her personality.

While that means she isn’t suited for service or therapy work, we’re committed to placing Millie in a home where she can thrive — one that’s calm, patient, and understanding.

Meet Millie, a Facility Dog in Training! Millie is working hard to develop the skills needed to bring comfort, connection, and calm to the people who need her most. Facility dogs like Millie play a vital role in reducing stress, boosting morale, and providing emotional support in workplaces, schools, and community organizations.

We’re thrilled with Millie’s progress so far. Her host family consistently shares glowing weekend updates, and during her training sessions, we see her confidence and abilities grow every day. Recently, Millie visited the Goshen Fire Department, where she made new friends and explored her surroundings—experiences that help her prepare for her future role.

Love you Millie. This is Moxie’s granddaughter. Out of Stephanie Kirtley’s girl Macy. Christina does such a good job.

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our program—this sweet little lady! Her current name is Millie, though we’ll share an update if that changes in the near future.

Over the past three weeks, Millie has been with a wonderful family who has dedicated their time to helping her learn and grow. She’s been working on house manners, crate training, and enjoying exciting adventures, all of which have contributed to her becoming a well-rounded, confident puppy.

We are incredibly grateful to this family for their commitment to Millie’s early development, as these foundational experiences are so important. It’s truly an honor to welcome Millie to our program, and we can’t wait to see all she’ll accomplish in the future.
