Today Jacko was really active.. He has free range of the house when the kids aren't here .. He does bite... sometimes because he uses his beak to climb , sometimes fear and sometimes because he thinks you're playing. The vet said it will take as much as 3 months to acclimate. Well today I was scolding him for biting.. ummm he called me an a___hole. Of course Morrill laughed then Jacko laughed...he says new words that we haven't heard every day...here's hoping it stays pg rated.

Learning to live with a Cockatoo 101 don’t put your finger in their mouth.
Also , just because a dealer told you they would cohabitate with others …. It’s not necessarily true.
Ranger lost a tail feather when Jacko reached through his cage bars.
So Ranger moved to living room and Morrill feeling bad about him being alone brings home Tweety. Tweety is also a conure but oddly enough hangs upside down 90% of the time.
But Ranger has a room mate and is blissfully living his best life.
Morrill mending and meanwhile his heavily bandaged finger makes a great perch.
I already need another vacation!
