The 4th of July is right around the corner. This is one of the most stressful holidays for our pets due to all of the activities. Keep your pets safe by keeping them home/indoors,properly leashed, wearing appropriate identification tags, and by making sure their microchip information is up to date with owner information. If your pet requires medications this time of year to help with anxiety, be sure to call your vet clinic before the holiday.

If a natural disaster strikes, do you have a plan for your pets? We recommend having an emergency bag of food, bowls, and leashes readily available. If you have a pet that requires a carrier, ensure your carrier is in good condition and easily accessible! Also consider having a sticker on your front door letting emergency staff know how many pets reside in the home incase evacuation is needed.

Mira and Tator are reminding you that Mother`s Day is this weekend! If you have cats, we highly recommend that you avoid lilies. If you are unsure what type of flower it is, it is also best to avoid those as well. Lilies can be very toxic to our feline friends and and going to an emergency clinic is not how you want to spend Mother`s Day.
