🐾 Adoption Update: Cedric and Oliver! 🐾

We are excited to share an update on Cedric and Oliver and their wonderful life with Gary and Melanie!

Since their adoption, Cedric and Oliver have been thriving in their new home. They are doing great with housebreaking, having only a few mistakes in their first week. Gary and Melanie recently put in a new fence and added a doggy door, giving Cedric and Oliver the freedom to go in and out to their hearts' content.

The dynamic duo has been loving every moment together, playing and enjoying each other's company. They recently had a trip to the groomer and came back with adorable new haircuts. Cedric and Oliver are truly living the high life, filled with love, care, and plenty of playtime.

We are so happy to see Cedric and Oliver thriving and enjoying their new home. Thank you, Gary and Melanie, for giving them the loving home they deserve! 🥰🐶

🌟 Adoption Success Story: Eli 🐾

We are overjoyed to announce that Eli has found his forever home with Mark and Jen!

Eli's journey began on the side of a busy interstate, where he was found terrified and starving. One of our dedicated volunteers spent over an hour gaining Eli's trust and catching him, ensuring his safety from the passing semis. With love and care, Eli was nurtured back to health and given a second chance at life.

Mark and Jen have a long history of raising children, dogs, bunnies, and fish. With all their children now in college, they were ready to welcome a new furry family member. After losing their last dog in October 2023, they felt a void that only a dog could fill. Eli is the perfect fit for their quiet and loving home.

Mark and Jen are excited to provide Eli with an active and nurturing environment. They bring over 20 years of dog ownership experience and the patience and care that come with it. Their home is safe and quiet, and they are ready to devote their time and love to Eli, ensuring he thrives in his new family.

We are thrilled to share that Meadow has found her forever home with Aimee and Karl!

Meadow, who came to us from a hoarding case involving local animal control, will now be part of a loving and caring family. Aimee works from home, ensuring that Meadow will always have someone around to provide love and attention. Meadow now has several new dog siblings to keep her company and play with: Nacho the senior chihuahua, Sumi the senior pug, Rosie the cheweenie, and Bentley the Jack Russell.

Meadow loves being around other dogs and will thrive in this environment with so many new family members to play with. Aimee and Karl are committed to providing love, safety, and meeting the individual needs of each dog. Their willingness to open their hearts and home to a dog in need is truly commendable.

🎉 Exciting Adoption News! 🐾

We are thrilled to announce that Kelly, a member of the Dunder Mifflin A-Team, has found her forever home with Anne, Homer, and their son Ben!

Kelly's new life will be filled with love and adventure. She will have free access throughout the house, space to be alone if needed, and someone is usually always home. Weekends will be packed with camping and hiking adventures, ensuring she has everything she needs for the journey. Anne, a behavior analyst, plans to work with Kelly to help her communicate effectively, while Homer works from home, providing constant companionship. Ben is excited to take Kelly on walks, and even Anne's adult sons look forward to spending time with her when they visit.

Their quiet, walkable neighborhood is perfect for leash training and exploring. Although their yard is partially fenced, they plan to install a lead system so Kelly can roam safely when they're outside. With a built-in kennel area and a dog wash, Kelly will be well cared for.

Anne and Homer are patient and dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for Kelly, ensuring she feels like a true family member. Kelly immediately took to Ben and was so happy to ride home on his lap.

We are so grateful for their commitment to giving Kelly the best life possible.

Abigail 🌸 has been adopted by Julie and Orville. She now has a new Shih Tzu brother named Happy. Julie has a deep passion for rescue work, having been affiliated with One Dog at a Time Rescue for about 15 years. Julie and Orville have always had dogs and prefer to have at least two. Their home is filled with love for both large and small breeds, making it the perfect place for Abigail to thrive.

Dotty 🌸 has been adopted by Lisa and Les. After the heartbreaking loss of their beloved dachshund, Maggie, they felt an emptiness in their home and hearts. Dotty will now fill that void with her love and companionship. With a fenced-in yard to explore and Lisa home during the day, Dotty will have plenty of time to bond and play. Lisa and Les are dedicated to providing a calm and loving environment for Dotty, making her a cherished member of their family.

Buster 🐾 has found his forever home with Ashli and Austin. Austin works from home 3-4 days a week, ensuring Buster will have plenty of company throughout the day. Ashli's dad is also around to help with the pups. Buster now has several new doggy siblings: Fin, the Dalmatian pup; Taylor, the sweet senior; Tater, the goofy senior; and Joe, the playful senior. Buster will be Fin's playmate since they are close in age, temperament, and energy levels. Living on a farm/ranch with 30 acres to play on, Buster will enjoy a life full of adventure and fun. Ashli and Austin are committed to giving their dogs the best possible life, with plenty of playtime and safety measures in place.

We are thrilled to share an update on Liam and how wonderfully he has been doing in his new home with Cynthia and Rick!

Liam has settled in beautifully and is truly thriving. Cynthia and Rick have shared that he is the smartest, sweetest kitty they have ever seen. It took Liam a few days to feel comfortable around their "puppy," a 90lb rescue who has been with them for almost two years now. However, Liam quickly adjusted and now follows his big canine brother around just like a kid brother.

Liam's new life is filled with love, companionship, and playful moments. We are so happy to see him thriving in his forever home. Thank you, Cynthia and Rick, for giving Liam the loving family he deserves!

Aspen 🍃 has found his forever home with Christina. Working from home, Christina has plenty of time to devote to Aspen, ensuring he gets lots of attention and care. Aspen will enjoy hanging out with her during the day and playing in his new fenced-in yard. He also has a new chihuahua sister named Baby Girl. Christina is committed to providing a loving home environment, training, and financial stability for Aspen, understanding that pet ownership is a lifetime commitment.

Hazel 🍂 has been adopted by Jessica and Keith, along with their young daughter. Hazel now has a yorkie sister named Lily. Jessica stays home with her daughter, which means Hazel will have lots of care and playtime throughout the day. Her dedication to animals is evident in her career and personal life. From a young age, Miranda knew she wanted to work with animals, shaping her entire academic and professional journey around this passion. She has worked in various roles, including at the Purdue Veterinary Teaching Hospital and in private practice, physical rehabilitation, and internal medicine. Miranda’s veterinary background, combined with her compassion and love for rescue pups, makes her an ideal adopter. She says, "I know rescues come with their own unique set of challenges, but I am willing to put in the work to come alongside them and support them, and give them the loving forever home they deserve."

Ginger 🐶 has found her loving family with Morgan, Levi, and their two children. Both Morgan and Levi work from home, providing ample time and attention to their new furry family member. Ginger now has two dog siblings, Nelly and Fancy, to play with and a fenced yard to explore. Morgan’s commitment to her pets is heartfelt and genuine. We are thrilled to share an update on Dolly Madison and her wonderful life with Tiffany!

Dolly's journey to happiness began when one of our rescue partners removed her from a puppy mill during a cruelty prosecution case. As a former puppy mill breeder dog, Dolly had a rough start in life, but her future is now bright and full of love.

Since her adoption, Dolly has been living the high life with Tiffany. Tiffany is retired and has all the time in the world to dote on her new furry friend. Dolly is enjoying her big house, fenced yard, and even has two koi ponds to admire. Tiffany's loving care has made Dolly feel safe, cherished, and truly at home.

Juniper 🐕 has found her forever home with Shirley. When we first got Juniper from a nearby shelter, she was very scared and terrified of being touched. Thanks to her amazing foster, Juniper slowly came out of her shell. Shirley, who is retired and adores animals, was the perfect match for Juniper. Shirley is dedicated to continuing Juniper's journey to confidence and happiness. With a 2-acre fenced lot in the country part of Nashville, Juniper will have plenty of space to explore and enjoy her new life. Shirley says, "I need a fur baby to love on and feel loved. I'd like a fur baby to walk up and down the road with."

Primrose, Petal, and Poppy 🐶🐶🐶 have all been adopted by David. David has a deep love for Yorkie mixes, and when he met Primrose, the shorkie, he immediately fell in love. After taking her home and settling her in, he knew his heart was set on her shorkie friends Petal and Poppy as well. Just three days later, he contacted us to adopt them too. Now, these three girls get to spend the rest of their lives together, filled with love and joy. David's dedication to his babies is truly inspiring, and his dogs are his life.

Apple 🍎 was adopted by Janelle and Clifford. She now has two dog sisters, Abby and Zuzu (who is also a pug!). Despite having one dead eye and a cataract on the other, Apple has found a family that loves her just as she is. Apple enjoys playing in their fenced yard and living her best life. Janelle and Clifford are fantastic adopters because they provide top-of-the-line healthcare and ensure their pets live on their own terms. They understand and respect each dog's individual needs, making every day special for them.

Wilbur 🐾 was adopted by Adrian and Erik, along with their three kids. Sweet Wilbur came to us in a dire condition with pneumonia in both lungs, barely moving on the floor of a local shelter. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to get him the help he needed, and now Wilbur is full of life and love! He is so happy to have found his forever home. Adrian and Erik are amazing adopters with a deep love for rescues, believing they make the best pets. They have a lifelong experience with dogs and other animals, ensuring Wilbur gets the love and care he deserves.

Hello from Ally, the proud adopter of Jasper! I wanted to share a heartwarming update about our journey with Jasper since bringing him into our family.

When we first welcomed Jasper, he was apprehensive around our son, but with some patience and guidance, they've become the best of friends! It's amazing how quickly their bond formed, in just over a week. We've fallen head over heels for Jasper, and I'm thrilled to share this incredible update with you.

However, our joy was tinged with sorrow when, just two days after being approved for Jasper, we unexpectedly lost our beloved Dudley. It was a devastating blow, but it also reinforced our belief that Jasper was meant to be part of our family. Despite the pain of Dudley's passing, Jasper has been a beacon of light in our lives.

Jasper has embraced his new life with gusto, bringing joy and laughter to each day. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he's made an indelible mark on our hearts. Every moment with him is a gift, and we're grateful for the love and companionship he brings.

🐶 Scout: Shannon and Scott, devoted dog lovers, gave Scout the loving home he deserves. With Shannon working from home, Scout gets to spend his days with her and his new dog sibling, Dolly. Their fenced yard provides the perfect space for Scout to play and explore to his heart's content!

🐶 Earl: Julia and John embraced Earl as their newest family member, providing him with a forever home filled with love and care.
