Love is in the air for skunks! It's mating season for these cute, but stinky, black and white creatures. So, if you find that your dog has been skunked...here's what you do:

1. Do NOT get the dog wet! The a**l gland spray contains an oily compound that will not be washed away with water.

2. Take baking soda and generously coat your dog's fur. Leave on for at least 10 minutes.

3. Wash off baking soda with peroxide.

4. Call Dog Gone Classy for a skunk bath and conditioning 270-385-9039

Fun facts: Skunks can spray up to 10 feet away and are very accurate.

Since it is hard to predict winter driving conditions, please keep watch on our page for late openings and closures. Our #1 concern is the safety of both our clients and employees. This winter, should driving conditions worsen during the night, we will post our intentions of opening the shop or not. A lot of times, we may not know this until last minute. Dog Training Classes April 2023

Excited to announce that we are now registering for dog training classes! We will be hosting two classes, starting in April, an evening class on Tuesdays and an afternoon class on Saturdays. The cost is $200 for the full 6-week classes. Each class is one hour. This is basic training of learning to heel, sit, stay, and come. If your dog is a purebred and passes the test, he/she can be awarded AKC K-9 Good Citizen Award. for $15 non-registered and/or $40 registered. If you would like to register or be put on a future waiting list, please send us a private message. Classes are limited to 6 dogs. A deposit is required to secure your spot.
