I was able to take this sweet girl home as a medical foster yesterday!

She was definitely someone's baby, but something happened and she ended up at the animal shelter.

So here's what we know about Sizzle so far:

She loves car rides! She is really well behaved and likes to ride shotgun

She loves lounging on the couch and being scratched

She's house and crate trained and doesn't make any noise in her crate

She saw the neighborhood stray cat at a close distance dart off the porch and she didn't show any interest

She's definitely food motivated
She loves going for walks around the neighborhood

She seems interested in my dogs but hasn't met them outside of her crate yet

Make sure you visit this sweet girl when she gets back to the shelter from her medical foster (unless she gets adopted first)

Our shelter, already at capacity, has just taken in dogs from a recent mass seizure. We urgently need your help to ensure these animals receive the care they deserve.

How You Can Help:

1. Adopt or Foster: Open your home to a pet in need. Adoption and fostering are critical to creating space for more animals.
2. Rescue: Partner with us to rescue these animals and provide them with the necessary care.
3. Divert Strays: Help us manage the influx by:
- Taking strays to vet clinics to scan for microchips.
- Posting about found pets on lost and found pages, Nextdoor, and 24PetConnect.
4. Spread the Word: Share this post and raise awareness in our community.

This is a pressing animal control issue, and we desperately need our community's support to manage it effectively. Every small action can make a big difference!
