Tina had a great day out at Saluda Shoals Park where she was able to walk, smile at other dogs and people, and best of all, smell all the smells there is to smell.
Tina is a mother and still shows her motherly tendencies towards other dogs. In fact, when three puppies were abandoned in the cold, Tina led our animal care team right to them, effectively saving their lives.
Tina (for some odd reason) hasn't found a home and was even at high risk in the shelter system.
That's why we're offering FREE basic medical care for her entire life to anyone willing to give her a forever, and we willcover all supplies needed if anyone can foster her.
This offer includes:
- Heartworm Testing
- Annual Vaccinations
- Exams
She is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, potty trained, and crate trained. She's around 3 years old, and loves to play fetch (still working on bringing the ball back.)
She is great with other dogs as long as they are welcoming towards her and show less aggressive tendencies. Come find out just how her motherly instincts would make her a great companion.
Tina is too good of a dog to not get to experience life outside of shelter walls. Text (803) 463-3653 to schedule a meet and greet, and bring your fam and pup along!

🚨EXTREMELY URGENT🚨
How will Niko's story end?
Yesterday, we posted a dog who's suffered abuse to the point of requiring surgery to survive. When Columbia Police Department, SC arrested Niko's prior owners, he was only 25lbs, emaciated, and had pressure sores. They were charged with ill-treatment/general abuse of an animal.
Thanks to Columbia Animal Services and a generous foster home, Niko is now healthy. However, due to a disability, Niko can no longer stay at said foster home. He desperately needs a new foster home or adopter to step up.
Now, he's once again at HIGH RISK due to lack of space and resources, forcing him to be the subject of tough decisions.
There's very little holding him back from being a good fit for any home as he's dog, kid, AND CAT FRIENDLY! He's fully vaccinated, neutered, and house trained. He's only two years old and has plenty of puppy love to give (as you can see).
So many people gave their all to keep this poor boy alive; nobody wants that to have been for nothing.
Niko's will be a story of either redemption and revival or hopelessness and sorrow for so many. Please spread the word, or better yet, take action!
You decide: will there be another chapter for Niko or will the pages stop turning?

🚨URGENT🚨
Coco is still in need of a new home as her previous owner is not fit to take care of an animal! All her life she’s been kept on a chain and used for breeding. This is her ONLY chance at a better life.
An amazing volunteer has found this dog and her puppies. She was very timid at first and would retreat or roll belly up when approached. She would do well with another confident dog in the home to bring out her personality. She walks slowly on a leash, and will interacts pleasantly once she knows you.
Again, this is her ONLY chance at a new life, and it will take a gracious family or individual to open their heart and home to her for her to get out of her current situation.
PLEASE do not delay as she’s running out of time. Text (803) 463-3653 or send us a direct message! Thank you in advance for the sense of urgency!

Christmas is right around the corner, and we're highlighting success stories from this past year that were made possible thanks to our generous donors!
Moses has had a short, yet tough life. He came to us with two broken legs and a broken jaw. Nonetheless, he is still one of the most loving and playful dogs you'll ever meet. He won't let his tragic beginning hold him back from facing life head-on.
He's currently in a loving home and is recovering well. All of this was made possible through your ongoing support. As we look ahead to 2025, please consider donating to our cause of saving the lives of animals in our communities!
Thank you all for your generosity and have a Happy Holidays! 🎄
