Odile vom Slaney-Vale loves playing with the remaining B litter puppies. She is an amazing dog and has proved to be an excellent mother. In the next few days most will be in their new homes. They have been a wonderful litter. One male, Briggs vom Granite Creek is still available. He will be a great addition to a good hunting home. Let me know if you are interested in Briggs.

Briggs vom Granite Creek is available to a good hunting home. Briggs is a wonderful Brsch male puppy. Both Dam and Sire are excellent hunting dogs that are equally exceptional in the home. Attached are the DNA results for Briggs and his pedigree. Note that all dogs but one on the pedigree passed the VGP test. All dog represented on the pedigree were judged very good to excellent in coat and confirmation. The pairing of Odile and Flink for this B litter produced very nice, consistent puppies. Pelle III vom Spanger-Forst was imported from Germany where he did his testing. He now lives with his family which includes small dogs in the Midwest. Pelle is a big searching dog with a strong point. He is a tough both mentally and physically and yet does not have a mean bone in his body. Odile came to me thru the vom Slaney-Vale Kennel in Canada. She lives in the home with other dogs. Loves playing with my grandchildren. Odile has a strong point and methodical, purposeful search. Very strong tracking instinct. Her cooperation, calmness and intelligence made her an easy dog to train and always a joy to be around. Odile's balance and mental stability is exceptional. Pelle and Odile represent the Versatile Deutsch Drahthaar in all aspects very well. They are a testament to the high standards and dedication of all the breeders and their kennels represented on the pedigrees. It is worth noting that in a breeding club with very high standards these breeders went beyond the minimum requirements by breeding dogs that where successfully tested at the VGP level. With only one exception all dogs listed on the pedigrees of this litter will have completed the VGP test. Thank you to these kennels for the high standards they have committed to.

On May 5 Odile vom Slaney-Vale whelped 8 beautiful puppies. Five Males and 3 Females. Taking deposits on two spots for two males going to good homes that will care, train, and hunt these wonderful dogs.

UPDATE: The ultrasound has confirmed a successful breeding. Whelping will be the first part of May. Pelle III vom Spanger-Forst was imported from Germany where he did his testing.
