It’s so fluff-a-licious that his hugs feel like being engulfed by a giant, cozy blanket spun from the softest alpaca fur in the Andes Mountains.

Hey Biscuit fans! It's the first of the month and you know what that means! It's time to announce this month's Golden Biscuit Champion! Please help us in celebrating the amazing Lulu!

How do you not fall in love with this face? Sweet Lulu is a Biscuit regular and has graced us with her joyful presence for years! Her favorite color is light-ish gray (aka pink) and she loves to strut around in her Tickle Me Pink collar and harness.

With her love for all things pink and fabulous, she also boasts an enormous toothy grin, a cute speckled coat, and a constantly wagging tail. Lulu's kindness and peachy spirit touches the lives of everyone she meets spreading cotton candy cheer everywhere she goes. If you ever wanted to know how and why we started dog boarding, heres a glimpse into where Amanda and I came from and where we are now in life.

My grandpa used to tell my mom growing up in Ferguson, Mo when she grew up and lived on her own she could have all the animals she wanted. When she grew up and did just that, I can still hear papa telling her that she didn't have to take him seriously! My dad grew up on a farm in Cuba Mo riding Shetland ponies and doing all things farm. Together they let me raise almost any animal I wanted as a kid. Then I met Amanda. When Amanda was growing up in Iowa, her mom always told her she could only have one pet at a time! She always wanted more, and said when she grew up, she would have a huge house with a dog in every room!

Together the only thing we argue about is how many animals and what kind. So you could say having animals as part of our life isn't just what we do, it's in our blood!

A HUGE shoutout to the wonderfully talented, magical, story telling photographer Karl Bussen, Bussen Productions!!

Taking pictures of animals is never an easy feat but this production of 5 horses, 5 goats, 6 dogs, 2 zebus, an almost 20yr old cat and two feral children took a lot of patience and being ready at the exact moment when it all came together. That's Karl Bussen, elegantly patient yet magically ready to capture any moment!

We also have to give thanks to Grace Belew for helping out. She was a critical part of helping to adjust animals and scooch them here and there to get everyone in line or just be there to hold animals as we brought them out on to the road to. We couldn't have done it without her.

Lastly, a shoutout to Confident Beauti by Erica for helping us to stay looking good in 90 degree weather! Sweat and animal hair can ruin any look quickly but with her expertise and talent, this was not a problem!

It takes a village to make something like this happen and we're so grateful for all the wonderful people we know who helped conquer wrangling this menagerie into one single picture! We love taking care of animals whether they are ours or yours, we love them all the same!
