Our friends at Central Missouri Humane Society really need and deserve new facilities. Everything from the building to the outside temporary storage facilities have just outlived their lifespan. They have housed animals in this facility since the 1970’s!! Our community and our pets deserve better, but new facilities are very costly making such a project seem impossible without significant funding.

I'd like to take a moment to recognize how incredible our owner, Jacob Brummet is. Despite the snow and tough conditions, he drove all the way out here to plow our entire driveway and even part of the road so families can still safely pick up their dogs. It’s moments like these that remind us how much heart he and his family pour into each facility whether it's Creekside Pet Center, Dirty Hairy's Dog Boarding and Grooming, Creekside's Bed and Biscuit, or his own family farm; they always put the animals first, no matter what. We are beyond lucky to work for someone who leads with so much compassion for the animals in our care and their families. Thank you for being the absolute best! We couldn't do it without you. 💜❄️
