The ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program is the only global initiative to officially recognize arboreta based on a set of professional standards.

The Mount Bethel Cemetery is proud to announce that we have met the requirements for Level One Accreditation. That means, in addition to our primary function to maintain the integrity of our historic cemetery, we are now sanctioned as an arboretum.

An arboretum is a botanical collection of trees and shrubs in a variety of species. Many modern arboreta are living collections of woody plants intended for study and appreciation.

In the weeks and months ahead, we will share our plans to further develop the Mount Bethel Cemetery as a place of continued rest and protection for those passed, and as a viable greenspace reserve benefitting the entire community.

Tomorrow is WREATH DAY! We reached our goal of 700 wreaths thanks to your generosity. Hope to see you at NOON for the ceremony and wreath placement. 🇺🇸

On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm, PA0358P - Friends of Mount Bethel Cemetery will be helping Mount Bethel Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
