We understands the importance of maintaining consistent and reliable emergency services for our clients and the broader community. To that end, we wish to clarify that our emergency room (ER) is not closing down during the overnight hours between 1:30 am and 7:00 am on a daily basis. However, there will be a limited number of days in the month of October where the ER may need to temporarily close for a few hours due to a shortage of available veterinarians to provide overnight coverage. We are actively working to address this staffing challenge by collaborating with local veterinarians in the community who are able to pick up relief shifts to fill these overnight gaps. Whenever the hospital must temporarily close the ER for a short period, we will make sure to announce this closure in advance so that clients and the community are aware and can plan accordingly. We deeply regret any confusion or inconvenience this situation may have caused, and we are committed to keeping the community fully informed about the current state of our operations. It's important to note that our ER will be open and operational for 24 hours tonight, Wednesday, October 16th. We understands these are trying times not just for our hospital, but for the veterinary industry as a whole, and we are doing everything in our power to navigate these challenges while ensuring our clients and their beloved pets continue to receive the high-quality emergency care they deserve.

10/15/2024

Due to a critical staffing shortage of veterinary doctors, our animal hospital will be operating under reduced hours for a brief period starting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16th. We will only be able to see patients until 1:30 AM that morning, after which we will be closed to the public until 7:00 AM. During this 5.5-hour closure, we will still have support staff on-site to answer phones and assist clients in finding alternative care options. Callers will be directed to the nearest 24-hour emergency animal hospital in the area.

We understand this unexpected change in our normal operating hours may cause some inconvenience for our clients and the surrounding community. Please be assured that this is a temporary measure necessary to ensure we can continue providing high-quality care with the limited medical staff available. Our dedicated team is working hard to restore full 24/7 emergency services as soon as possible. In the meantime, we apologize for any disruption and appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging period. The health and safety of your beloved pets remains our top priority, and we are committed to getting them the care they need, even if our hours are temporarily reduced.
