Mama Juju had her puppies!

Welcome to the world, sweet, little angels! 💙🐶 Earlier this week, Mama Juju had 8 🫶 healthy pups. We are so thankful to our amazing volunteers who were by her side while she gave birth. Thankful is an understatement - Juju had a warm, safe space to land and she knew it! Juju has been such a wonderful mom and we are so proud of her. 8 adorable pups and 1 healthy mama - we can't ask for anything better. 🥰 ❤️‍🩹 Fostering saves lives, and we are grateful to have willing fosters who can care for pregnant mamas, puppies, dogs of all ages and sizes. Because of them, Edison is safe, loved, and on his way to the life he always deserved. But the truth is, Edison never should have been on that urgent list in the first place. In Prince George’s County, MD, pit bulls are banned—not based on behavior, but simply because of their breed. This outdated policy ignores what truly matters: a dog’s personality, upbringing, and the love they have to give. Edison is not a "dangerous breed"—he’s a gentle, loving soul who now has a chance to prove that breed is only fur deep. We are beyond grateful for the foster who gave him that chance.
