Hi, all! A friend has a 3 year old, neutered Mini Lop buck who is looking for a new home. His pal is going away for school. Here is what his current family says about him:
“He is a very sweet boy; he loves to cuddle under my chin and will sit on my chest or lap without moving for about 30 min or more. My son graduated and will be moving on. We don't have the time to spend with the bunny that he deserves. He has spent a lot of time with or cats and dogs. One of the cats even grooms him and I think the dogs think he is just another cat!

He was neutered, has never been sick, and has been well fed, groomed, and taken care of.”

The meat breeding show was this morning. Everyone made it out alive. It looks like there are two different breeds out there but that’s because most of my sheep were bottle babies (runts) but they are living their best lives and I am learning by doing the 4-H way. I am thankful for 4-H friends who help in a pinch.

This is a first for us now that Eden’s flock is maturing. Celeste tragically lost her baby a few days ago but is still producing milk so we are trying to see if she will foster our little houseguests. We’re going to give it a few days, hopefully she will adopt them for everyone’s benefit.

We love updates from our extended bunny family. This is Tinabelle. She is out of Eden's Adele and was part of her Marvel litter (nee Fury). She looks so good and happy. So blessed that she has a beautiful family.

The plan was to get a young bunny to revive the rabbitry but this old guy needed a home & he is itty bitty, so here he is. Spirit is 9 years old but we call him Grandpa Baby. He is mostly Netherland Dwarf and he's thickened up since he's been here but that's what happens to everyone in this house. He loves to climb & perch on your shoulder.
